Absolutely. The offensive play calling was beyond putrid. They ran on first down on virtually every single possession. Smith needs taken to task for this.Worst coaching performance by Tomlin in a while and that's impressive
Dana white / ufc team do all productionI don't know how this all works, but what do you mean "BJC" ain't paying"? If they sell out the place, and I would assume they get some % of whatever streaming platform carries the event.......seems like they could make it work. Although I don't know who sets up this event (stage, cage, lighting, etc.). I'm not a UCF fan per se, but would probably support this event if Bo is involved (that is watching it on a streaming service).
Worst coaching performance by Tomlin in a while and that's impressiveWell I called this one.
Ohio State winning is best for us in all scenarios thoughI don't know if we want to go to the CCG, to be honest, so I agree.
That probably means OSU winning out, to be safe.
If OSU wins this week then loses to the Skunkbears, I think PSU goes to the CCG. We'd have to keep that game close to get the 5 seed. Or if we somehow won we'd probably end up the 1 or 2 seed, depending on how impressive the other conference champions were in their CCGs. It would figure the year it expands that we finally finish in the top 4 anyway.
And this is the first year of the 12 team playoff--if we lose in the first round and we follow that with losses to Oregon/Ohio State it's a reality not a narrative. We'll get the benefit of the doubt this year. Right now, we're considered an elite program--that will change if he can't win in the playoffs this year or beat Oregon/Ohio State next year. Time is running outOur schedule is stronger next year than it is this year.
The narrative continued this year that he can't win a big game. It's already baked in.
You really can’t help yourself, can you? This is like crack for you.Hence "if we win" out which is the what he said and you ignored. Be better with your jokes then...the expectation is that we win and he used the correct disclaimer before he said "we've beat" as he explain what the projection is.
I'm confused--we're in with 2 losses but Illinois winning out helps our ranking as it would give us a quality win
Because next year the narrative continues to build that Franklin can't win a big game so unless you have us beating an SEC team this year that would be held against us more next year with a weak schedule and us losing again to anyone that's a playoff team
As far as I'm concerned this is th3 wrestle off we all beg for every year before the season starts.... I think it's awesome and hope they do it every year!I initially wondered why we wrestle in this invitational (except our frosh and backups). Seems like a really light field of competition. But after reading the strategy put forth by the coaches and various wrestling pundits it makes total sense. Cael does know best!
I'm confused--we're in with 2 losses but Illinois winning out helps our ranking as it would give us a quality winI’m also curious about this take. You’ve been adamant we’re in this year with 2 losses (only one would be a “good” loss) and no real quality win unless you’re now arguing Illinois is quality.
How is that any better than being 10-2 next year with the loses being osu/oregon?
Love to see IU win but the likelihood of the Big 10 allowing that to happen is virtually zero. I hope I'm wrong.
I think it comes down to how well the patchworked center-left side of the OSU OL plays. If they play well, it's lights out for Indiana
