So far this year NONE of them that involved PSU. At least 5 games PSU was on upset alert. Even the OSU game some of the experts had OSU on upset alert and they were wrong in that game too.

If Minny plays their A game, all PSU has to do is play their B game. But if PSU turns the ball over, has 50+ yards in penalties along with a couple of drops by the WRs anything can happen. It is important to stabilize early and nullify the senior night energy.

Unfortunately, PSU has had games where they have had 5 games of over 60 yds in penalties (and a few others over 40 yds) and we've seen some drops from WRs over the course of the season. The drops aren't as bad as seasons like 2003, 2004, 2023, etc but in terms of penalties, it feels like this has been the worst year in a very long time.

Joebots dont really care about winning. They were happy losing to Toledo in 2000. They even made up a slogan, "Success with Honor" to cover up for the lack of success in those years.

Now they dont even care about the honor BS and try to minimize the actual success.

Not much. Same experts had PSU on at least 5 upset alerts this season. WVU, USC, Wisconsin, Washington and Illinois. What did it tell you after they were wrong?

PS> Charles Barkley is OVERRATED. He joined the 83 76ers and the team REGRESSED. He was never a team player. It was because of Barkley the team traded Moses and then they made a horrible move to trade Daugherty for Hinson.

Barkley tells people he did not have any talent around him. LOL. He played with 5 of the 50 greatest players in the history of the game and they all had rings except him. He played with Erving, Moses, Pippen, Olojuwan and Drexler. When he went to Phoenix they had the most all stars in the league and the rookie of the year. Still did not win.

Another thing about this game. Who the hell was on Jerry Jeudy for crying out loud?!
Was this Porter Jr.?

You look at this game and the Steelers did just enough to lose. Let's see we have a missed FG and a 15 yard shanked punt that sets up the Browns close to midfield instead of their own 30 at the most crucial time you needed a good punt. Two blown 4th and short plays along with idiotic let's run the ball in the middle of a stacked defensive line on every first down. And yes let's continue to run Harris instead of going more to Warren because we like averaging 1 yard per attempt. Last but certainly not least let's make freaking Jameis Winston and Jerry Jeudy look like Montana and Rice while letting them convert on every 4th down attempt.

OSU/Michigan currently have the 2025 #1 and #2 overall recruits in the country. Both are QBs. Our QB is currently ranked #610 overall in the country.

Free does not impress anyone when they had losing records vs Michigan, OSU and dont forget the annual Iowa loss. When PSU was trailing Toledo 24-0 did anyone care how much the coach was making?

Do you want to do a cost benefit analysis? The team is making MUCH more today.

An old man who could find nothing to do in retirement. He would have coached for free. Absolutely no comparison with today's crazy contracts.

The cost/benefit is ridiculous. We are not the only school. This sort of nonsense is like a pandemic. Hopefully things change over the next few years and we no longer tolerate a culture of waste.

I don’t know if intentionally but it easily could have been grounding as it never crossed the line of scrimmage and there were no receivers anywhere near it.

The lineman definitely reached down and grabbed it. Should have been both penalties called and the Steelers choose which one enforced. ……st least, IMO.

I would need to see the replay to check how close the ball was to crossing the line of scrimmage. If it is not touched then the ball probably travels another yard at the most. Why would they not have reviewed it and made the grounding call if it was going to be that? Committing that illegal touching penalty helped the Browns and a penalty should not end up being a favorable advantage for a team committing the penalty.
