Thoughts on Allar injury?

Lando has come out hard now rooting for Ohio State 😂. Don't ya just love how those MGo clowns always pull for Ohio State against Penn State? 😂.

Drew will be able to give it a go, but we are playing both, and yes we can be at Ohio State with Pribula. And Howard is not going to play well with 3 backups in front of him who had trouble protecting him against Nebraska.

The guy we need out there the most is Dennis-Sutton, and I am hoping we get that groin healed up this week. If not, time for Vanover and Vilbert to step up. This game has Carter written all over it also.

The past 3 or 4 games against this team we have actually had a key injury DURING the game go against us while they all stayed healthy. The law of averages is with us this Saturday.
How am I rooting for Ohio State?
To beat Ohio State with Pribula our defense has to be elite--DDS needs to be 100% which seems unlikely--we'll need depth even if Vanover is improved. Carter has been great all year.

PRIBULA!!!!

I've never seen anything like this guy............ lol....
I think every 15 year old knows that the only way to deal with a troll is to ignore him. Everyone on this board knows this guy is not a Penn State fan. Always takes the opposite position, argues in circles and then inevitably moves the goalposts when you pin him down. Just act accordingly and ignore him.

Thoughts on Allar injury?

It's his left knee, correct? Optimistically, the strain on the "stepping through" leg (the left for Allar) isn't as great as the strain on the plant leg. No idea what the injury is, but the road to game-ready may be shorter than we fear.
The ball sails when you can't plant that leg. You can't follow through cause of the pain so you compensate. In Drew's warm-ups you could see that.

Thoughts on Allar injury?

it Looked to me like he wanted to play but his passes were sailing because he couldn’t step into throws. So good for him to recognize that Beau was the better option at that point.

Hope we get him back but we’re just guessing until some imaging is done on it.

Football Penn State opens as 4.5-point underdogs versus Ohio State

Ohio State has been far from dominant, even against real poor competition. They, like us, Oregon, Georgia, Alabama, Texas etc. have played down to their competition all year, especially for a half or more. You do this too often and you can get bit. Gotta remember that OSU was at home this weekend. Their only real game was Oregon and that was a loss.
Just real hard to pick a favorite - at this time - for the NC. There are 6 to 8 teams that have a realistic shot

Franklin presser

As I said to Lando on another thread, the point...well mine at least...was not whether it was a tactical error and bad look to have a flunky give the obvious and necessary canned answer to the inevitable question. Yes, it was.

Rather the point was that the whole thing would be a non-story sinking like a rock within 24 hours. Which it did.

So Franklin felt a burst of graciousness in the afterglow of a big win and apologized for a dumb move during last week's presser. Big deal. It remains, as it was from the beginning, a non-story.
Now we're going to pretend he wasn't told he had to apologize at the end of the post-game presser?

Regardless of franklins apology, it is a matter of opinion that it was wrong or right.

Cry fact alll you want. It doesn’t make it so

That is what you never comprehend.

It's not...it was a mistake and that's a reality. The problem isn't my take. It's that you refuse to admit they handled it poorly. Everyone knows the did...their action prove that. Not opinion. Fact.
