Franklin presser

Well done--the PR department knew they handled it correctly and sent him to the wolves to apologize
This is how it should have been handled on Wednesday
Now maybe we can agree it was a fact that it was handled poorly and created a situation that didn't need to exist
Good damage control

Headline on ESPN that Franklin apologized. Just hard to understand why he felt the need to express regret when according to the PR majors on this board, he did nothing, I mean....nothing, wrong. As I said on the first page of this thread, our PR team continues to be the very worst in all of college sports and has a habit of allowing small stories to turn negative and national.

We have the best OC in the nation for Beau to beat OSU.

Suspect that O$U corners will jam WRs and force PSU to run. Beau will need to run a lot to keep them from swarming #13.

Could use a healthy #10 but that does not look to be in the offing this year.

FG kicking is a strength but the rest of Special Teams is a disaster. Best we can hope for us to hold serve there.

Defense playing well but not generating a pass rush.

No one will pity us but going to need a Herculean effort. Probably too much to ask. Could get ugly. Darn shame…probably best chance to beat them and next one might be quite a ways in future.
"Could get ugly" No, this will be a close game. Vegas knows.

If it is Pribula then we need to have success with him running and passing. Not sure about him being able to consistently pass down field. Need to score at least 28 but
probably 31 or 35.

On defense need to control line of scrimmage and get some pressure on Howard. Can't let Egbuka and Smith burn you.

Not everyone. Thompson averaged 50 yards per punt in the second half and field position was critical then. Also, Zion Tracy is THIS close to breaking a punt return, let's hope it happens this Saturday.

Football INSTANT REACTION: Jaylen Reed, Beau Pribula save the day against Wisconsin

DDS jogged off the field after they sang the alma mater.
You can often run straight line with a strained groin - it’s the change of directions where you’re really hampered.

Source - I played soccer in college and was plagued with groin strains for a time. They were the worst kind of injury as so hard to test if you’re ready to go. I’m not a Debbie Downer and I hope your optimism is correct

I think that you give OSU too much credit. They are loaded on paper, but haven't shown it on the field. Nebraska could have beat them today. No way Nebraska should be able to hang with a team this "loaded", but they did it as a visitor. OSU's weakness is the oline. The starting LT is out for the season and the backup got hurt today. That could be a real problem given your very good DE's. I think that this game could go either way. In fact, I would give the edge to PSU, given home field advantage.
OSU = massive underachievers.

PRIBULA!!!!

Big celebration in Bloomington today about Indiana 's first ever Bowl victory under Lee Corso. Corso was even wearing a hat celebrating the achievement. You should let him and the school know it was a pointless win that meant nothing.
In 1979 I believe...back when bowls had some meaning because there wasn't a playoff. Also for a program like Indiana mediocrity is a win.

PRIBULA!!!!

Further proof of you not reading...that's true for bowl games. Literally all players should boycott bowl games.
