Guest picker for College Gameday crew?

I'd like to see SuePa but ESPN doesn't have the courage. What about The Big Uglies?

Would Sue even have any interest in this?
I can't imagine she would--I also think it's a horrible idea
Penn State nor ESPN would want that. I doubt Franklin would want that distraction.
I don't even know why that would be a thought. Because Saban's wife was a guest picker?

Football Latest on QB Drew Allar's injury status for Saturday's game

The playoff committee used FSU injury and opt outs to drop them from the playoffs last year, so I'd say that it would be a factor this year.
No--the opt outs happened after the selections were made
They dropped them because DJU wasn't going to be back
If Allar misses the Ohio State game then comes back strong it's basically like that lose never happen
If he doesn't come back then it matters
Let's be real though--FSU wasn't a top 8 team last year even with DJU. They had a nice season but it was all smoke and mirrors. Much like Miami this year

OSU player not suspended for 1st half

Did you actually see the play? If targeting it was very borderline. If players get thrown out and suspended for what Reese did, it makes open field tackling increasingly difficult.
Why didn't they just reverse it on the field? They reviewed it forever, what is new now to change it on Monday? Is this common to reverse a targeting call two days later? They are all reviewed. What is the process? Is this the result of OSU complaining up a storm? Or did some head official look at this for the first time today and say it wasn't targeting? Just get the call right to begin with.

Football Latest on QB Drew Allar's injury status for Saturday's game

My hunch is it is unknown all the way to game time. Allar has pads on and warms up. First series it is Pribula and he plays the whole game. No Allar. Ohio State will prepare like that and be ready for Beau and Drew. Going to be very tough with no Allar.

Question, if we lose to OSU and let's say they beat us pretty good by 14-17 points is that factored into playoff seeding that we didn't have our starter if Drew is playing in the playoffs? In other words they give us a bit of leeway in the loss because of no Drew? I know I am like 5 steps ahead but just asking.

Jaylin Reed was penalized 15 yards following his game changing pick six because he gave the ball to his mother who sitting nearby in the stands.

And they returned the favor by calling a bogus holding call on PSU that wiped out big play a couple series later (even Mike Pierera commented that it didn't look like holding to him when Todd Blackledge said something about it).
The holding call was correct. The number given was wrong. Watch a replay and you will see a guy with a number in the 40s who was the real guilty player. It occurred less then 5 yards from the guy they mistakenly cited. Ref probably threw the flag and followed the rest of the play before looking back for the number.
