ESPN Top 25 College Football Players -- Mid-Season Edition

I can't help but to notice that NFL draft prognosticators list Allar as the 10th best QB in the country. Would the 10th best QB enter the NFL draft?
Who has him 10th? WalterFootball has him 6th going between rounds 1-3.
Remember this doesn't have a clear cut QB. Each team is going to like a different QB.
Also where you're drafted doesn't really matter now. Just get into the league and get to your second contract.

USC Game Environment

The actual visitors section was in the torch end zone and whoa……we we a long a$$ way from the closest end zone.
I sat in 200, in the area you are describing. It was a very long way from the field. The field is not situated in the middle of the stadium, but positioned towards the “horseshoe” end of the stadium. I would guess we were about 50 yards from the “near” end zone. The only plus is we were behind their band, so weren’t subjected to their constant Victory dirge.

I doubt I would go back unless I knew I had better seats.

At halftime I went out to the concession stand, and there was 1 dbag yelling “Penetration State.” I wish I had seen him after the game.

I agree with the vendors outside the stadium comments. $5 dogs and $10 22oz Pacifico’s. Way better pricing than inside the stadium.

It has to be the Cleveland Browns.

From 1950 - 1965 (pre Super Bowl era) the Browns were 4-4 in NFL Championship games including winning their last NFL
Championship the year before the first Super Bowl.

And then - Nada.

2026 Recruiting underway

Take rankings FWIW, but Nebraska is the worst academic school in the expanded B10, even worse than Oregon which nobody confuses for Stanford.

US News ranks the bottom 3 conference schools: Iowa 98, Oregon 109, Nebraska 144.

Arizona State (121) is ranked higher than Nebraska.

But in fairness, Nebraska is would be a middle-of-the-pack SEC school.
ASU is ranked better because of competitive co-ed population and proper attire

Least surprising to me is the Jets not appearing in the last 55. They have to be one of if not the worst run franchise's in NFL history. And this comes from a Jets fan of over 50 years.

Why Wisconsin terrifies me (trap game)

I have CJF at 13-19 against ranked teams excluding the 2020 Covid season that I don’t think should be included and 2014-2015 when PSU was down scholarships. 12-13 during that time against ranked teams not named Ohio St.

It’s not great, but it’s also not as bad as advertised. Joe was 86-85-1 against ranked teams and didn’t have to play Ohio State every year until a quarter of century into his coaching career.
Joe has a losing record vs OSU and UM. Don't forget the ANNUAL iowa loss. Joe has a losing record vs them too.
