Please note, a couple of the schools may be wrong. Especially with the 14 and 16U teams as some of the schools were referenced from the PJW JH state tournament or the Keystone Championships. Luca Felix is the only one I’m really not sure on. He’s listed as competing for a HS in Morgantown, WV, but has wrestled for PA in tournaments both last year and this year.

Have you been following the TA&M Baseball saga?

Just one day after coming within one game of winning the World Series, their manager not only left, but went to Texas and, of course, several of their best players have entered the portal. That's typical of college athletics these days.

I really enjoyed watching that team play in the Super Regional and World Series, and they have a lot of players who will be drafted. They also play in what looks like a beautiful stadium right next to Kyle Field.

I got onto one of their boards today just to read the comments, and one poster questioned whether TA&M has enough NIL money to keep the players who are entering the portal, which is ironic considering all of the money that they spent on the football players under Jimbo Fisher. Therefore, NIL isn't only an issue at PSU.

OT: summertime fireflies

Folks, I am desperate for information on a certain subject and I figure this forum could be a good place to ask because this forum should have people from across all of Pennsylvania.

Here in south-central PA, I'm convinced I'm seeing fewer fireflies aka lightning bugs with each passing year. For context, my area is rural, primarily agricultural. There are few things more pleasurable than sitting outside getting buzzed while watching fireflies. Tonight it's Glenmorangie La Santa on the rocks.

I want to know what the rest of you are seeing in either rural or suburban areas of Pennsylvania.

Some cosmetic changes to the network!

Some minor changes this AM, as the Rivals network as a whole as made some upgrades to the site.

You’ll notice it’s all mostly cosmetic changes, with a new look front page, different fonts and new look Rivals logo. Also there’s a color change currently as well, but I believe there was a small mistake there as it was supposed to remain blue and not black. I’ll look into fixing that asap.

Curious on your guys thoughts? Also if you experience any issue at all, please email me asap so I can get that fixed for you.

How much NIL $$$ for top 10 QB?

How much NIL $$ does it take to get a top 10 QB from California to commit to PSU for 2026? I would think it had to be a major factor in his decision to go across the country and play in a non-warm football state for a team that has never made the playoff. Are we talking 100K, 250K, 500K or more? I have no idea how these things are playing out in the wild west of college football.

Huhn and Mickens: already committed for 2026! Nice start

Yes its early* but Huhn not only is pumped about coming to Happy Valley but according to him, DA is ready to light it up in 2024!

A top notch QB and RB are a good way to start the '26 class.

PS *Seems like the last kid we signed from CA got homesick and left. So Distance can be a real spoiler....... But he's in love with his choice as of now, so thats a very promising start. And we do play former Pac12 teams so he'll likely get a chance to play back home.

FB Recruiting Update on top target set to announce soon (5:30)

Continuing to hear more Oregon chatter for Finney but still waiting back from sources with knowledge surrounding Oregon. Finney was always set to announce this week but the Oregon chatter coupled with him announcing he's ready to commit on X tonight makes me think the smoke has some fire. But I'm not here to BS you, this one is very much up in the air right now.

If he does pick Oregon tonight, things I imagine have had to change sometime in the last 24 hours. Penn State was seemingly in a very good spot as of last night the last time we asked around about things. Obviously he's coming off that Oregon official visit which wouldn't make things too surprising but the fact that the potential smoke is coming nearly 48 hours after official visits wrapped makes me lean towards Oregon with an NIL push here. I know one source familiar with his recruitment believes Oregon may very well be the pick tonight.

Stay tuned below.
