Neuralink gains FDA approval for in-human study

Exciting and scary. This Elon Musk is going to go down as one of the most impactful humans of all time (Tesla, SpaceX, Starling, The Boring Company, X and Neuralink). Regardless of what you think of him, as a person, his impact on the world is already profound and he's just getting started. (or, at least his companies are).

Neuralink has been studying the ability to put computer implants into the human body. Initially, the goal is to help people with muscular or nervous system problems to function more normally. However, it doesn't take much to imagine where this can go. HIstory is replete (with the release of the movie Oppenheimer this summer) with inventions that were intended to do good but were ultimately tools to do bad.

Amazing.

Early look at the top PA players for 2026

Review of the first Rivals Top 250 for 2026 indicates that there appears to be a strong state of PA talent pool. There are at least 9 4star rated players from PA in the top 250. It will be interesting to see how many other PA 4stars exist outside of the Rivals Top 250. It's possible that there could be 13-16 total 4stars in PA for 2026. Let's hope we have our pick of PA's best. Messiah Mickens is a great start.

NCAA Contests

So, we have KYPSW going here. I thought I would make a thread where we could list any other contest out there that you are aware of.

I just filled out my brackets. I definitely did them with PSU glasses on, but, I don't think anything was unrealistic. I had us with 187.5 points. I only did scores for our guys, but, without bonus, NC State was 2nd, Iowa 3rd and Iowa State 4th

I'm just curious of any other contests that are out there that are open to the public.

Good night JohnBoy.......

Have been coming to and posting on "this" site since Plotit days. Since the move to On3 the football and football adjacent content on here has been disappointing. Been posting on Test Board on and off as long as it has been in existence. Given the totality of this site (football and test) and general lack of content, the Test Board was entertaining enough to make checking both sites worth while. But seriously pay for this?? if I am going to pay for content and doubt I am, but if I am likely will try On3.

Champs Confidence Picks

How confident are you in your picks for champs. Here would be mine.

1. Kervliet - I know Bastida/Hendrickson are tough. I just don't see Kerk getting beat.
2. Keckeisen - I'd be surprised if he lost.
3. Starocci - He'd be first if it weren't for the slight injury concern. I'm less concerned the closer it gets.
4. Brooks - I think Brooks is the best pound for pound wrestler in the country, but, Hidlay is up there as well.
5. Haines - He is just always under control and he's gotten better and better as the season has moved on.
6. Lovett - They all get tough from here. Gomez would surprise me. Henson, Arrington, Kasak & Watters aren't easy either.
7. Bartlett - He wrestles matches too close, but, he USUALLY comes through when it matters.
8. Fix - Big time toss-up final for me with Crookham. There are obviously other threats as well.
9. O'Toole - Ranking him here shows how much I love Mesenbrink. Oh, Carr and Hamiti aren't too shabby either!
10. Davis - This weight is just crazy!

That wasn't easy!

FB Recruiting Rivals250 DE Jayden Woods has successful debut visit to Penn State

"It's an amazing program with amazing people."

Four-star DE Jayden Woods made his first-ever trip as a recruit to Happy Valley during the middle of last week.

He recaps the visit here:

London Montgomery

Normally, I would just post this under running back, however, due to the personalized nature of the situation I’m posting this separately. If my memory serves me correctly as a die-hard Giants fan it took Barkley basically 2 full years to fully receiver from a torn acl, & return to normal on the football field. With that being said I sincerely hope the same will in-fact end-up being the case with Montgomery.

Hopefully, the medical staff is handling his rehab the right way!

If-so, given the advances in medicine nowadays, his youth, & him redshirting last season, hopefully, with any bit of luck he’ll return to his normal form by August, 2 full years following his injury.
