They had a better record than Mich, but day one did them in.
* 11 bonus points
With 47 matches wrestled to our 33 and UM's 40 ... not great
Calliendo and Kennedy accounted for exactly half of the 11. The others? Michigan redux ... or is it the other way around?
* I think the Hawks top Mich at NCAAs.

OHIO STATE
* 20 - 17 Overall
Historic 2022 recruiting class leads the Buckeyes to a 5th-place finish.
It's not good from Bouzakis; the highest seed not to place.
* 14 bonus points
Wrestling with "controlled anger," Rogotzki accounted for 5 and tied Nebraska's Hardy for the tourney lead in bonus points.

Shoutout to RUTGERS
* 22 - 20 Overall
1.5 points behind OSU with few, if any, top 10 recruits.
* 14 bonus points
Mitch Moore led the tourney with the most falls ... 2 for him 2 for them

Ace Baldwin was selected to the All-Big Ten second team, while Kanye Clary received at least one All-Big Ten vote (not us) lol!

What is WoC?? I assumed when announced it was a funny way the BigTen now uses to name the OW.

Every couple of years a PSU wrestler announces the moment they have become that guy. To me this was that moment for Levi. Toeing the line at Carver after we just took a loss and methodically crushing an All American 12-0.

Over the years we've been married, there have been a couple of times Mrs. Rebel has had a instant strong reaction to people. I've learned that in any situation involving people, I should just wait for her reaction. Any flicker of doubt that I married a human Geiger counter for human radiotoxicity were were put to bed when we watched Gamma Ray AJ's post match interview after he won the 2021 crown. I thought she was just disgusted with the puerile bragging; but man she recognized a world class [insert word here].

So all this weekend I watched the interviews and it was obvious HM knew nothing about wrestling; so she tried to psychoanalyze everything. I missed Davis' conf. champ match, so I watched it on DVR. When the post match interview came on, my wife got that look and let loose about how HM diminished a young wrestler who didn't want to play her game.

I realize it's mandatory to have women covering men's sports now; (Extra Stupid Political Network was on in the gym on Friday and the NBA game was only women); but can't they get one that takes the time to learn the rudiments of the wrestling and doesn't want to make everything about "feelings"?

Class of 2025 quarterback Malik Washington will be on campus tomorrow for the first spring practice. He will join 2025 defensive end target Jayden Woods out of Kansas.

That was PSU's record at B1Gs this past weekend not counting the two MFF. Has any other team in history ever had a more dominant B1Gs than the 2024 Penn State team?

I hope to see the same next week.

Quick glance through seeds I think we see Vito/Crookham, Bastida/Hendrickson, and Carr/O'Toole this weekend. Anybody else have good matchups to look out for?

No position will be more closely watched or scrutinized for Penn State this spring than wide receiver

125-could win it or not AA.
133--think he will AA, best case is 3rd
141--could win, will AA, but don't think he will win Mendez again.
149-like this kid, I believe he will AA, as high as 3rd.
157--no lower than 3rd, believe he wins it.
165-only favor KOT. Will AA.
174: WTFN. But from track record, will give him the title.
184. AA. Predict top 6.

Whoever tracks and constantly updates team and tracks the brackets deserves a special attaboy (attagirl? attaperson?) from the wrestling community. They do a masterful job.

New Jersey top 250 LB Kamar Archie has left PSU off of his final 6 schools. I guess we need to look elsewhere for a fourth 2025 LB. Too bad; I would have liked us to get him to finish up our LB recruiting class.

Where was he on our LB pecking order?
