Donald Trump just won the greatest jury verdict in American history

It sounds like a few lefties are doubling down on stupid.

Nearly two years ago, I wrote that Democratic prosecutors’ lawfare campaign against Donald Trump would make the 2024 election the single largest jury decision in history. Now that the verdict is in, the question is whether prosecutors will continue their unrelenting campaign against the president-elect and his companies.

The answer is that it may not matter.

The election reflected a certain gag sensation for a public fed a relentless diet of panic and identity politics for eight years. The 2024 election will come to be viewed as one of the biggest political and cultural shifts in our history. It was the mainstream-media-versus-new media election; the Rogan-versus-Oprah election; the establishment-versus-a-disassociated-electorate election.

It was also a thorough rejection of lawfare. One of the things most frustrating for Trump’s opponents was that every trial or hearing seemed to give Trump a boost in the polls. As cases piled up in Washington, New York, Florida and Georgia, the effort seemed to move more toward political acclamation than isolation.

Now, these cases are now legal versions of the Flying Dutchman — ships destined to sail endlessly but never make port.

If there is a single captain of that hapless crew, it is Special Counsel Jack Smith. For more than a year, Smith sought to secure a verdict in one of his two cases in Washington and Florida before the election. His urgency was seemingly shared by Judge Tanya Chutkan in Washington, but by few other judges or justices.

Around 2 am, Smith became a lame-duck prosecutor. Trump ran on ending his prosecutions and can cite a political mandate for it. Certainly, had he lost, the other side would be claiming a mandate for these prosecutions.

Trump’s new attorney general could remove Smith and order the termination of his continued prosecution. That is less of a problem in Florida, where a federal judge had already tossed out the prosecution of the classified documents case, which some of us saw as the greatest threat against Trump.

In Washington, Chutkan, who proved both motivated and active in pushing forward the election interference case, could complicate matters. Under federal rules, it is up to Chutkan to order any dismissal.

So here's the thing

As disgusted as I was with the final 6 minutes of that game. Penn State was on the brink of victory against what many "experts" consider the greatest roster talent ever assembled. Against a team that is a well oiled elite college football machine with more resources than nearly any NCAA team in any sport.
But while all this happens people chastise the program and coach because they took that team to the brink of a loss. Then snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
They give credit to the kid who made the interception at the goal line and don't give Zakee Wheatley credit for doing essentially the same thing on the other end, instead that was on Will Howard, not the playmaker.
Such a double standard. Such a sense of I want it both ways.
I don't care if James Franklin is a great coach every day but Saturday. The team played to the final bell against a team that was superior in every category....Coaching, talent & intangibles. Poor Ohio State had to play without a few offensive lineman. Yet Penn State played with a QB not 100%, their best defensive player out for the season, a hobbled RT and top DE. But poor Ohio State had to move their all-American guard over a position and backfill that position with one of the numerous 4/5 stars waiting in the wings.

Why all the fuss?
Ohio State did what they were supposed too. Penn State did what they always do.
Either way that game came down to basically one or two plays. So what's the big deal? That's the type of game I would expect from two top 10 teams.

Another safe and well-run election with nothing rigged or improper

We have a new President -Elect who won the election. Now when 1/20/25 gets here he will be sworn in without the drama of folks trying to overthrow the result. That's how democracy works in the USA - a peaceful transfer of power to whoever wins the election (EC).

Time will tell how the new winner will act, how his policies do, and hopefully it will be peaceful.

Hermy: You should be worried.

Your wife is almost certain to vote for Kamala. A whole lot of women married to Trump Cultist men are likely to do so as well, and to lie to their husband, just like they do with their fake orgasms. In fact, Jesse Waters has given voice to this fear, and compared the wife of a Trump Cultist doing this to cheating on her husband. BWAHAHAHAHA!!

Julia Roberts really knows how to trigger male Trump Cultists.

PARDON/Biden's Last Act

Now that Harris was defeated, she cannot pardon Hunter Biden! So that leaves Joe as Hunter's only "reliefer!" My GUESS is that Joe will Pardon his son, as he will believe in his senile mind the country will owe him that. Besides he knows kamala deep sixed her own campaign, unwittingly for sure, but I am of the opinion when Joe gave his blessings for Harris to take the reigns there was an understanding that Harris would pardon Hunter when she took office. Obviously, I could be wrong, but I am of the opinion Joe will protect his son. Time will tell.
