Allar was 14/16 yest, and really 15/16 with Fleming drop

Last pass sailed due to knee injury (to open Wallace). Great job by whole team in a hostile and loud atmosphere. Pribula rose to the moment as did D in second half. 30 second half points all season in 7 games! Lots of Penn Staters celebrated all over Madison. So proud of this team and can’t wait for Nov 2 to be loud and proud!! Biggest home game in a long time with a lot on the line

Prediction: Penn State 31 Wisconsin 10

Yes, I'm nervous about this game...as I am about all games except for the Kent States of the world. Wisconsin is a good team. They have some good players. And they're on a roll while playing in the spotlight at home.

But I think we've got too much talent and speed across the board...plus we're coming in on an emotional high of our own after the come-from-behind win over USC...plus Drew found something in himself to lead that comeback featuring not one but two hair-raising 4th-down throws on the final drive in regulation. Making plays like that puts something good in a QB's head.

In the end, the Badgers are starting a back-up QB who has performed like a back-up. He makes mistakes. I think we're going to get pressure on him. I think we're going to take away their run early on. I think Drew is going to have a big game, which will loosen things up for Nick and Kaytron.

I think Wisconsin will come in pumped and the emotional rush may keep things respectable in the first half..but I think we establish control at some point in the 2nd quarter and pull away in the 2nd half. I see a nice win heading into the Lions Den against the mighty Buckeyes.

Then again, I could be wrong...

Kotelnicki, Ja'Juan Seider, Trautwein, Danny O'Brien, Ty Howle

1) This is so beautifully blocked, it's like out of 1994. You don't get to see this kind of perfection very often. Login to view embedded media
2) It really hit me that the job of the offensive coordinator isn't just to scheme and call plays. Kotelnicki has to be able to make this all understandable to 19-21-year-olds. They have to learn it in a few weeks and then be able to execute this high speed ballet perfectly in front of 100,000 screaming people and players trying to knock your brains out.

Those two fourth-quarter drives -- yes Pribula was so ready for the moment, but a whole offensive team just kicking ass. It was a real achievement of great coaching and hard work.

The plan for Ohio State DE 44...

This MUST be in place next week. I say you do what the NFL does for TJ Watt: Two men, four hands, on everything. Always a chip on the passing downs. Unbalanced lines when possible. This is where a guy like Coach K comes into focus in a big way. Scheme will be vital. You need a game plan for this. As I said, think 2021 Michigan. We are going to need to bring the interior run game with Kaytron. You can bet your bottom dollar Coach K has an entire suitcase that has been saved for next week.....we are going to find out. We just might see Warren being a huge factor in blocking next week as he has been everywhere else. Nebraska had time to throw today, if we can protect Beau, or Drew if he can go, it's huge.

The stars align for Beau Pribula

PSU is his dream school.
He enrolls even as stud QB Drew Allar is recruited in the same class.

Drew gets selected, but there is an easy way out for Beau -- the Portal -- where he could start for any number of good teams.

Beau stays.

This week, in his home state, in Beaver Stadium, Beau will either start or play a very significant role within the biggest game in memory.

Rumor: Home duals to be held at BJC beginning 2025-26

**Edit**
It's official now:
A bit of scuttlebutt out of State College from this morning: [This source is occasionally wack-a-doodle, but, he does linger around a lot of administrators]
“People are going to be up in arms over Kraft's decision to move wrestling from Rec Hall to the BJC for every match beginning next season. Because they can sell more tickets. He also will mandate a Step program to get and retain season wrestling tickets. Everyone has to be in the Nittany Lion Club. No donation to the NLC, and you lose your tickets. Kraft said there are 7,000 people waiting for season tickets so he is unconcerned about backlash from longtime season ticket holders who are giving nothing back to PSU currently. “

Many kids may be fine with a spot start/backup role and be a fan favorite, learning from the best for a few years. Then transfer out for a shot somewhere else, like Bearclaw. No shame in that
I'm hoping some of the kids from pa that don't make the lineup transfer to lock haven. Would be nice to see them relevant again

Have you attended a World Series game?

Have you attended a World Series game? I was going to add in person but that would be redundant although in many cases announced attendance figures are the amount of tickets sold and not those in actual attendance as it should be. But I digress.

I have not and it's a giant vacuum on my sports bucket resume and being a Pirates fan it may be a hopeless cause which may lead me to go to Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland or Philadelphia one day if I ever hope to attend a World Series game.

So what WS games have you been to?

What MLB/NFL/CFB stadiums have you been to that no longer exist?

What MLB/NFL and CFB stadiums have you been to that no longer exist?

For me: Georgia Dome, Memorial Stadium, Municipal Stadium, Pitt Stadium, Riverfront Stadium, Three Rivers Stadium, Veterans Stadium, and Yankees Stadium.

I wish I had made it to Tigers Stadium and Shea Stadium having watched so many games on TV on WOR. No one took me to Forbes Field :-(

Other games of note...appetizers for tonight's main course

Notre Dame versus Navy in East Rutherford: Navy unbeaten and ranked but stepping up in class here. Notre Dame needs the W to keep playoff hopes alive...favored by 14 to get it.

Washington at Indiana: Huskies have one nice W (against Michigan) but haven't looked impressive on the road in the conference. (Fortunately, we get them in Happy Valley.) Indiana is surprisingly unbeaten and acting the part of a contender. Hoosiers favored by 5.5...still no Vegas respect for Indiana. (Rooting for Washington to pull the upset here.)

Illinois at Oregon: The Illini another conference surprise team with only the one loss we gave them but hard to see them beating an Oregon team that seems finally to be living up to its preseason billing. Ducks favored by 22 at home. (Would love to see Illinois somehow pull off a shocker.)

Missouri at Alabama: Loser of this one is likely eliminated from playoff contention. Tide favored by 16 at home.

LSU at Texas A&M: Tonight's other big matchup....with big-time playoff implications. Aggies favored by 1 at home. (Rooting for Aggies...and another Brian Kelly meltdown afterward.)
