Those going to WV game

You may have a just fine game day experience. Having lived there for two years I can tell you that there is a deep seated dislike for Penn State. Being said there is a risk of being subject to untoward comments etc. Many here were too young to remember the old days when we played them regularly, but it was a time that we were very good and they generally lost, hence their disdain.

Just my opinion but taking children would probably not be a good idea.

Maybe others can chime in on what could or should be. But imo this is probably not like any other venue that we might go to.

FSU / GA Tech game thread

So far GA Tech is holding up pretty well in Dublin in front of what seems like a mostly FSU crowd.

I'm hoping Tech can send the choppers flying home crying in their Irish beer!!

Tech just scored (I'm watching a little delayed due to lunch with the boss) to take the lead. Both teams look pretty good on offense. Too bad the defensive genius Duzzy and Pitt don't have to play either one of them in the new watered down ACC..........

Discussion of the potential of the PSU WR corps, article on Wallace and Cliff....

This article pretty well sums up my feelings about the PSU WR's. It's great that Franklin see's Wallace and Clifford having good Fall camps and establishing themselves as the two top options in the passing game, but both Wallace and Clifford have been devoid of big plays to this point in their PSU careers.

So I'm in the camp that believes Flemming will have to get on the same page with Allar, OR another WR on the roster will need to step up and become the deep threat that the offense will need to get to win the toughest games on the schedule and get to the playoff.

The question is who that 4th and 5th WR's will be. I believe that if any of the young carry over WR's had that talent they would have gotting some plays on the field and plays called for them last season. The only other deep threat seems so be Evans, who has gotten targeted deep a few times. Saunders seems to be another slot WR who performs similar to Clifford. I'm more hopeful that Denmark can pass up some of the carry over WR's (Ivey, Johnson,...) as the season progresses and get into the rotation and end up making some deep catches.

The highlight of Flemming in the article abusing Rutgers does show that Fleming could end up as the deep threat the PSU offense needs as well.

UConn to the Big XII?

Feel like the Big XII should just merge with the ACC or wait for it to collapse.
