College Football Playoff

With the expansion of the CFP to 12 teams, there will be an opportunity for 4 teams to have an additional home game as part of the 1st round of the playoff.

With the cost of the proposed renovations of Beaver Stadium in mind, is there any way to earmark the profits generated from any playoff home games for this purpose?

I see CBS Sports reporting that there will be an additional $450mm revenue generated by the sale of the broadcast rights to ESPN for the initial year of this 12 team playoff format.

I've not seen nor heard any specifics with respect to the disbursal of these additional revenues.

I wonder what specifically is the financial arrangement between the host playoff team and the CFP.

Offensive Line Recruiting

What is the latest for the '25 class? We have two guys, both 3 stars. Owen Aliciene out of CT an 89 rated OT good size at 6'7" 275. And Michael Troutman out of NJ. 87 rated interior OL, 6'2" 270.

We need more than this, right? Who are the top guys we are targeting? Hopefully 4 star guys.

Edit: I see we seem to have a decent shot for Malachi Goodman out of Paramus NJ, a 94 rated composite IOL. 6'5" 315. Steep competition for him.

OT - San Diego stories

I had similar experience with a girl I thought for sure was "the one". But I had it three separate times.
I sure hope you don't mean you had the same experience 3 times with the same person! You know the old saying about the definition of insanity!

PS - interesting finale to my story. When I first moved to San Diego, from time to time my friends and I would drop in to a popular bar where the waitresses were so hot that everyone was too intimidated to try to approach any of them. Fast forward to today, one of them is my wife. We've been together about 20 years now.

Predicted White Out Game/Potential USC Start Time

According to a Brett McMurphy tweet he has our 9/28 Illinois game as an NBC prime time game. NBC also has our Wisky game in Madison on 10/26 as an NBC prime time game. Those are our only night games. Looking like we get the Illini for the White Out.
Also looking like OSU will be a noon start on Fox. Disappointing but this is what we get with Fox getting first choice on games and their Big Noon platform.

On another note, for 10/12, NBC will have OSU vs Oregon in primetime. This probably means we will start on 10/12 at 3:30EST/12:30PST vs USC on CBS I think. It could be very hot in LA at that time and that time of year.
