Mitchell Mesenbrink's Pace

I just rewatched Mitchell's last match with Caliendo (23-7 TF in 6:47). In the 4 minutes and 20 seconds they spent on their feet I counted at least 14 committed shots from Mitchell, of which he converted seven of them. That averages out to a committed shot once every 18.5 seconds against a very solid opponent. This is not even counting the numerous level changes, penetration steps, snap downs and constant forward pressure by Mitchell. It really is a sight to behold. Mitchell's pace is such that it is hard to truly appreciate it during the matches since everything is transpiring so quickly. It is only after being able to re-watch and study the matches that you can truly appreciate his phenomenal pace and pressure. Considering what a great job the Penn State coaches do in developing their wrestlers, the sky is the limit for Mitchell. I am so excited to watch his college and freestyle career unfold these next few years. And as a Penn state fan I am thrilled he wanted to come to Penn State!

FB Recruiting Could PSU make a move for 2025 four-star RB Bo Jackson?

Quick tidbit as 2025 RB Bo Jackson as he will visit this weekend.

Maybe Ohio State is way out in front for the four-star running back but things could get really interesting with Jackson, five-star running back Jordon Davison and others with position coach Tony Alford leaving Ohio State for Michigan.

Penn State has continued to pursue the Cleveland four-star and its running back tradition could make things really interesting as the Nittany Lions have their shot this weekend.

Big hire for UM.

Amazing Nvidia numbers

So they just released some blowout numbers and the stock went even further up. CNBC’s Brian Sullivan on Last Call has been posting amazing stats:

The company market cap went up $250’Billion …. In just fifteen minutes! That 15 minute move is more than the total value of Netflix.

Nvidia is worth more than twice the value of the entire Italian stock market.

Homes in Santa Clara are incredibly over priced. A two bedroom home under 1,000 sq ft sold for $1.1 million. A 2000 sq ft home sold for over $3 million.

Crazy stuff

Off Topic -- United Airlines Maintenance

A couple of days ago, I flew United Airlines from Honolulu to Denver and Denver to cincinnati. On the first leg after about 30 minutes of flying, the jet was turned around and returned to Honolulu for maintenance. We ended up on the ground for about two and a half hours. Next, after I got to Denver, we boarded the plane and after we were on the plane we were told there was maintenance issues again and we had to wait another 45 minutes to fly out. On my end, I am suspicious that two issues on one trip are purely coincidence and are not the result of systematic problems. I will say that the actual flights were quite smooth once we got going. On the other hand, I have safety concerns about United arising out of this trip and I'm wondering what other people have experienced and what their thoughts are.
