I know they have American on Friday but for all intents and purposes it feels like the regular season is over so i thought it might be fun to grade the team.

First the starters:

Lilledahl gets an A. He's lost a couple but it seems like he learned a lot from the first one and the second one was more of a fluke. Since the loss at Rutgers he's opened up his offense which is what did wasn't doing early on.

Davis gets a B+. He has a couple nice wins but he really mismanaged the Van Dee match. It would have been a B but he gets the + for gutting out that win against Bouzakis.

Bartlett gets an A. He's beaten everybody he was supposed to beat and the guy he wasn't supposed to beat. It would be an A+ if he didn't wrestle down to his competition from time to time.

SVN gets a B+. He's been a beast and I think he probably just had a bad night in Nebraska but that was the match that would have put him over the top. I expect him to get revenge in a couple weeks.

Messinbrink gets an A+. His dominance at 165 is no different than Steveson's at HWT. You couldn't ask for more, he's been perfect.

Haines gets and A+. Almost three months later and I still think he had O'Toole in OT. I also think that he thought he had him and stopped wrestling.

Starocci gets an A+. Perfection, never even close to being in danger of losing a match.

Barr gets an A+. He's waaaaay more than we could have hoped for. He's literally six seconds of riding time away from going to OT against Buchanan where he's been a BEAST

Kerkvleit gets an A+. Sure he's got a helluva test coming up but PSU had the secret sauce to beat Steveson before with a much less heralded wrestler so you never know...

Rookies who are projected to start:

Ryder gets an A+. He's undefeated and has a couple nice wins for a true freshman
Connor gets a B. He's been good but getting majored by Barr shows that he might not be ready to go next year.
Cole gets a B. He looked completely overmatched in the duals so he needs to get seriously better before next year.
Sealey gets a C. Unless you're blind you know that he won that match in Illinois but he really looked bad against OSU. He looked nothing like a blue-chip recruit getting ridden out on bottom like that.

The latest Trump bombshell involves the U.S. Agency for Foreign Development. A great place to get up to speed is the website www.foreignassistance.gov.

The budget for 2024 is set at 63.1 BILLION DOLLARS. The aforementioned site details the grants to each country. Of course, The People Republic of China is a destination of America's largess, together with nearly every country on earth, including the countries of MEXICO, Columbia, and even CANADA!

One can easily imagine how that money should be spent in America, ie, Western North Carolina and LA for instance. During the Obama years numerous Muslim countries were given money to rehabilitate their MOSQUES!!

Yet be assured the Democrats are already hot under the collar over the suspension of USAID security personnel for denying Doge Employees access to review the records of the Agency. Musk has called the Agency a "Criminal Enterprise."

One can hardly keep up with the news these days, unlike Biden's nappy days.

Lots to like:

- for a shorter WR he seems to have longer legs and really does stride out when he gets the ball and cuts up the field
- lots of catches in traffic. Evans had that one incredible catch of a long ball early in last season, but Ross seems to have made more catches in traffic than both Evans and Wallace combined in their 3 years at PSU
- some acrobatic catches that show his concentration for the ball, right until the play is over trying to make a play on the ball
- some fight through tackles, especialy for a smaller WR, that show his strength even though he's listed under 170 lbs I believe
- can really catch a football, and makes plays on balls that many of our WR's of the past 2 years had no chance to catch
- didn't face top B10-like defenses other than vs Iowa, which he abused, but probably had more YAC this past season than the whole PSU WR group had over the last 2 years combined!!

Finally binging the show. Wrapping up Season 2 this week.

What does everyone think? Good enough talent to be a big upgrade for us or same old same old bad, underperforming WR room? They will need to do something because there will be no all world Tyler Warren to make all the catches.

I have serious doubts that we have the needed talent at WR to win it all. That is the goal next year, right? Not just make the playoffs but actually win the whole shooting match. It is why Allar, Singleton, Allen, Durant, DDS all returned.

Can we still land a portal guy after spring practice that could be our #1 guy legitimately?

Tom Loy, National Recruiting Analyst on 247, has, today, switched his crystal ball pick from Notre Dame to PENN STATE. Loy generally is well aware of what is going on with Notre Dame recruiting so this is very positive. I thought this one was going to ND all along.

If true, O’Brien, along with Brown, Mickens, and Sieg would give us 4 of the top 5 on Rivals and the top 4 ion 247.

I'll admit I was at first a little concerned that Trump fired 13 Inspector Generals. I heard Tim Caine Va Senator yesterday making it an issue.
However how can anyone defend these guys with the level of fraud and waste being uncovered.
Today's highlights 16 million social security numbers aged 110+ are receiving benefits.
This is the lowest of low hanging fruit. I presume there is an IG who oversees this.
Second not only should they stop these payments they should find who is cashing the checks and prosecute them after requiring payback with penalties.
