I watched the press conference yesterday with McDermot, Allen and Dane Jackson. Dane Jackson recalled a time he had to be carted off the field by an ambulance and as they were putting him in Damar, standing over him, says "I love you DJ". Wow, talk about choked up after watching. Dane and Damar have had a longstanding friendship.

It's kind of a toys for tots thing so I'm not sure how much anyone could grift from it.

It seems like he has his mental capacity, which is way harder to bring back than his physical abilities. Regardless if he ever plays football again, he will likely lead a normal life.

The ventilator tube was removed and he is talking, moving, and even had a FaceTime meeting with his football team. Fantastic recovery so far.
