Announced today. See the link below. From the article:

”New Jersey will require restaurants to stop indoor dining by 10 p.m. and prohibit all indoor, interstate organized sports up to the high school level, two administration officials confirmed to POLITICO Monday morning.

The new rules will take effect Thursday morning, according to the officials, who requested anonymity.”

And,

The details: The officials said restaurants, bars, clubs, lounges and casinos will no longer be able to serve indoors between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Restaurants can still serve outside, they said.

Moreover, bar seating will be banned under the new restrictions. But bars and restaurants will be allowed to seat groups of people at tables closer than six feet together, if they are separated by plexiglass. Restaurants will also be allowed to set up “outdoor igloos.”

The governor is also banning indoor interstate sports for elementary through high school students. Those restrictions don’t impact professional or collegiate sports.”

F*ck us.

So you get your coffee through the drive through and now you have to stay away from little league sports.

Just interstate sports, not intrastate. Nevertheless, restrictions that keep me away make everyone happy.

And, with a quick glance if I read it correctly, you can still have indoor sports if you’re in college or professional leagues.
Little Mike here in ohiya stoop all alcohol sales at 10:00 several months ago. Drunks don’t social distance.

Intrastate indoor sports are still allowed. So two New Jersey (o_O) schools can play basketball, but a New Jersey (o_O) school can’t play a New York (o_Oo_O) school.

Understood that. How many college level basketball programs in NJ? A lot of round-robin play this year.

Also, a bit disappointed I wasn’t commanded to GET. OUT. OF. THERE!
🤣

@ericstratton-rushchairman - here in the hear of the country, it’s really smart. Little Mike suggested only in contact with others for 9 minutes. I guess anything under 10 minutes, you’re not exposed.

You know what you must do.

The mandate in New Jersey doesn’t affect college sports.

I never thought I'd say this aloud.. but TG i live in florida. sigh.

Guessing Murphy is not on board with Pfizer's vaccine plan.

Not that one thing necessarily has anything to do with the other (vaccine announcement timed with restrictions announcement)...

Governor Murphy cares. 🥰

I cannot wait to leave NJ. Traveled a lot in the past several months checking out colleges with my oldest. Reminded of all of the great places to live that are not in the northeast or midwest.

Wow they approve weed but close the restaurants? That is really cruel.

When I was a little kid scared of the monsters under my bed my Dad would often tell me "The monsters quit at 6pm". I guess the virus quits at 10pm

If there’s anything I learned from New Jersey’s rules it’s that if I stay away from state borders and don’t eat between 10pm to 5am then I’m safe from covid! 😜

My son played on a youth hockey team in Bethlehem. He should be playing in New England, Canada, and of course NJ and NY. These restrictions pulled out of thin air are causing havoc. Every state has some stupid rule. It’s getting hard to keep track of everything.

Isn’t hockey really just a peaceful protest and protected? Break a window or something

The dart board approach to public health these states have is just asinine.
