My guess. The original song came out in 1975 and was updated, as at the end when it says 5th Super Bowl team. Lambert 1st made All Pro in 75', and the other guys mentioned were more established.

I wonder who Matt Bahr replaced from the original version. He didn't join the Steelers until '79. Was Gerela in the original?
