Washington: 127th best strength of schedule.

127th.

Put them in, and your system is effectively dead.

Where are you getting the strength of schedule data?
Guns being his normal "King of the Village of the Idiots" self

His "SOS" references are to UW's OOC "SOS".......ie, THREE of the 13 games they played

By most metrics, their full season "SOS" typically falls in somewhere near the middle of the pack - - - 5Os or 60s nationwide

Of course, even at that, ALL so-called "SOS" claims are indeterminate and subjective measures .......and all depend on what parameters you put into your algorithm:

"Do you use opponents W/L %? If so, how heavily is it weighted?"

"Do you include weights for your opponents conference affiliations? If so, how do you calculate it, how do you weight it?"

"When ranking teams from different conferences, do you try to evaluate relative strength of conferences? If so, how do you do it?" (Probably the most impactful, and yet - by definition - most subjective component of any "SOS" measure........since 3/4 of everyone's games are played within their own little "cult")

Etc
Etc
Etc

ie - " Tell me who you want to see have the better "SOS", and I'll develop the algorithm to yield that result"
(and it will be a logically defensible algorithm)

Nice to see you arguing against Penn State because you have a 3rd grade emotional level in your head, freak.

Well, let me see if I can make Guns' argument in a different way. If Penn State had played Portland State or Idaho instead of top 25 PITT, I imagine there is a great chance Penn State would be 12-1 right now. And if that was the case, I think the whole argument would be different. So forget the metrics and algorithms and everything else. Should not reward UW for playing a pansy OOC in a down PAC10/12/14.

That said, UW deserves it as much as anyone in discussion not named Alabama. Everyone else comes with a wart or two. That is why I believe you will see playoffs expanded. Should be minimum of 8 teams. Heck, every other level of college football takes 16.

I guess we need to be cautious about what we say. The Playoff Committee is monitoring our posts. Anything we say can be used against PSU.....LOL
How far back will they monitor. The hiring of Moorhead.....I have a dream (don't see 4 wins).....
