Lot of talk about how impressive AOC looked, but personally I was not impressed with his wrestling at all. Much praise for his ride but I saw nothing there which looked remotely offensive oriented - riding for the sake of riding only. They really need to change the "ankle ride" rule (5 count) to include trapping a standing wrestler's ankle, and lower leg, with your knees and just hanging on.... - if it's illegal to ride the ankle, how does this not count?

From what I saw, AOC has zero future at the International Level. Very defensive and undynamic style.

You realize other fanbases call that the “Penn State Ride”. We’ll adjust if restrictions are put on it, but still - have some self awareness

It was known as the Oklahoma State Ride when they were on top. People hate winners and find any reason to criticize end of the day.

AOC completely big brothered Levi. He had his High Crotch (which @CSauertiegPSU pointed out this was really his go to move and could hold him back eventually) scouted to a T and completely shut it down, Levi never came close to getting AOC's leg up even. Levi was definitely a little more nervous and bit on every fake early also. AOC literally said experience was just a huge factor in the match overall (pointed out Levi is a freshman overall and did some freshman things watching him)

You know what pisses me off about baseball? All of these pitchers who throw 99-100 mph. I mean, they're not even trying to let the guy hit the ball! Fans don't want to see strikeouts, they need to change it up either make pitchers slow it down or let the batters just hit off of a tee.

This might be the final time we see Levi lose a match. I'm positive he's not losing next year if he stays at 157.

I recently saw some footage about a guy that delivered some pure doosies at around 65-70 mph. Hitters stood no chance

Randy Jones?
I saw a Pirates vs Padres game at 3 rivers when I was a kid and Jones pitched a 110 pitch complete game 3-1 win in which literally 8 Pirates hitters hit warning track or at the wall fly outs 😆 🤣 😂...the guy had NOTHING on his pitches. It was like trying to hit a wiffleball off a tee...they kept hammering these pitches and there was just no way because that slop he was tossing up there was all about 75 mph uncle Charlie curves and sliders lol

Bruh.

O'Connor was clearly the better wrestler in that match.

But, yeah, he wrestled one hell of a boring-ass, stalling 2nd period.

Both these things can be true.

Never said he didn't win the match - he did get the deciding takedown in the 3rd. But overall his wrestling was extremely undynamic. That style is going nowhere beyond folk.
