157 next man up##

I hope you are right. My knee felt bad watching what happened to Nolf.
We all feel bad about it. As long as it is not his ACL he can probably wrestle at NCAA's which is 6.5 weeks away. Also keep in mind, Spencer Lee wrestled at State's last year with a torn ACL and is currently wrestling.

I don't think we are seeing Nolf before B1G's since at a minimum Cael is very conservative with injuries.

I would be thrilled if Nolf is healthy enough to go at B1G's. However, I am not optimistic about this; would love to be wrong.

Considering that Nolf probably will not have a MRI until tomorrow, little premature to say season is over right now.

You seem to assume that PSU will make the MRI results known to the public. Based on past experience, I wouldn't count on this.

PSU will not make the results public, no doubt about that. If Nolf is done for the year, we may start to hear it leak out. If Verkleeren or Berge wrestles Saturday, we will definitely know.

I was just pointing out to the OP that Nolf was done is premature since they most likely will not have an official medical diagnosis until tomorrow.

Frankly, why should they? Just because we are fans, doesn't mean we have a right to know.

Not sure I totally agree with that. As long as consumers are charged a fee to watch the events, part of me feels they have a right to know these things.

Not a specific diagnosis at all, but if an athlete is participating (with more than 1 days notice from match notes)

I see both points of view ...

Just got word from Nolf dad through a buddy. Probably pcl, won’t know for sure until mri but most likely out for year. Said it’s real bad.

I hope mri comes back with better news, Nolf is one of my favorite wrestlers to watch that I can remember. Been watching him since high school

Hopefully it doesn't come to this but Hockeygod had the plan - Zain to 157. Then Berge or Verk at 149.

You guys know what this means, right? That means Zain would get to DESTROY Mickey Jordan again! I would LOVE that! Ahahahaha!!!

Pyles is a lot tougher on twitter than he is when interviewing Cael. Kid almost pissed himself last time he asked about a Plan.

My first post on this board was calling out Pyles because, in some dumb post somewhere, he had called Iowa "less safe" than Iran. You know, the Iran with the theocracy that stones people to death. Much safer than Iowa.

The guy's a goofball.

Shouldn’t have posted that. Pretty sure Mr. Nolf wouldn’t appreciate that.

They (PSU) certainly don't have to release the MRI results. On the other hand, what is the down side of being forthcoming about the injury status? Still not sure what the staff's subterfuge about the Jersey kid's injury accomplished last year.

Certainly makes sense for Saturday IF you wanna burn a shirt just to win a DUAL, I wouldn’t
