165 with a new resident? The Mouth moved in InterMat rankings.

sounds good to me. I really want to believe the guy who only weeks ago won a world title can finish ahead of Campbell.

at 157, I just dont see him holding it down for 3 days and being effective.

Can someone remind me what the story is with Fausz? He is ranked by InterMat but is not competing in official events (only action was at Wolfpack Open, which he won -- and beat the current NC State starter). Grades?

It will be interesting to see if he can be effective even at 165. Didn't appear to be in good shape on Friday night, and I'm at a loss for a reasonable explanation. I doubt he was conceding a ton of weight.

He went unattached, so that implies he's shirting.

That'll teach me to look up stuff quickly during a mtg.

My bad for forgetting to put that info in my orginal post..By the time I realized, I was already driving to work (which is the same reason I couldn't provide a direct link to the bio in my response).

It's funny, though -- I almost didn't look up the bio in the first place, because I thought I recalled someone saying earlier this fall that he was redshirting. Based on that, I was about to criticize InterMat for ranking a shirting wrestler.

It doesn't appear he is/was injured, so I figure he must be ineligible.

Fausz is a tough situation rankings wise because we know he has a hard time with 125 (he started last year at 133, didn't get down until late January) so it isn't impossible for him to be just on a limited weigh-in schedule. Maybe he isn't eligible, but I have no confirmation on that (hence why he is still in our rankings). He is expected in Reno this weekend, though that is an open so it clarifies nothing.
