Two defending champions. Dean and Martin confirmed, hope the match is as good as it should be. Be a great guage of where Martin is at up a weight.

I think a motivated Dean wins this pretty handily. I could see a borderline major...something like 9-3. I'm not trying to rag on Martin, but up a weight against the top 5 pound for pound defending champ? That's a tall order.

Just my opinion. Dean wins, isn't really threatened, but without much scoring.
Was thinking the same. This has 4-1, 4-2 written all over it, maybe 6-1 or 6-2 on a late counter off a desperation shot.

Dean wins handily.

Martin is talented, but he and everyone else knows how fortunate he was to beat Nickal in the finals.

I really don't think this match is going to be close. If Dean takes this seriously, he will wipe the mat with Martin.

I've become a real fan of Dean after listening to his comments after he won his 2nd NCAA title last March. Everything he said was an expression of sincere gratitude towards his family, friends and coaches. He's a class act, and I wish him the best in the upcoming season.

For some reason this cracked me up:

First bout of their year...exhibition...my guess is it'll be close. Been wrong before...

Should be Dean but will just come down to which Dean shows up.
Just my guess first match of the year for both a boring match with Dean winning 3-2.
