I was watching the 1982 Notre Dame game on YouTube this weekend. No link because I don't want to give ND free publicity.

My "favorite" play of this game is not included in the 10-minute highlight package. Anthony King came off of the sideline to make a tackle, possibly preventing Purdue WR Chris Daniels (who had tons of room to rumble) from scoring a touchdown. Purdue only got a field goal on that drive.
We were penalized 15 yards for that, but we did get away with one. The refs would not have been wrong to reward Purdue 6 points for that (and yes, they could have).
