Yes, to #8. We won't jump the others and can't argue with that now.
I think it will be

Alabama
Ohio state
Michigan
Clemson
Louisville
Washington
Wisconsin
Penn state

But now with everyone but nana with a loss, winning out gets us no worse than #6

Being ranked high is cool and all, but with an o line that is that beat up... we just need to keep winning!

....and all the bitching on here about our game earlier today!!! At least our boys pulled it out in the end and didn't crumble...like....

Clemson
scUM
Washington
A&m
Aburn

And none of those were "good losses"...only Washington lost to a ranked team and USC was 20th.

But the Selection Committee knows precisely who is better than who and who would beat who.....LMFAO. So do tell given that they were wrong about full one-half the Top 10, what makes this weeks "Selections" any better??? This is why "real playoff" game results are determined by winning your Division/Conference, being placed in a playoff bracket and the result determined on the field of play.....not in some conflicted scumbag's head who has nothing to do with on any result on the field.

You may be right.....but, IMO, UMich "should" be at #6
They beat a PSU team - that was, at that time, not even a shadow of the Top Ten team they are now......a Wisky team that has no O, and still nearly beat them.......both at home

The only decent road test they've had - against a 5-4 team that PSU had just THROTTLED - they lost (and probably shoulda lost by a couple TDs)

Their quality of wins - compared to the others - is "not good"

It doesn't really matter until after the conference champ games, but right now, I'd have:

Bama
OSU
UW / Clemson (take your pick for 3 / 4)
LVille
UMich

As the top 6

Not necessarily who I would favor to win a head-to-head matchup, but based upon who has done more to "earn" the ranking

They do have Colorado . Although home, they won big in the end. I also think that they want to set osu in with a win over um even if we win the big ten

Getting ahead of ourselves, but it all plays out as desired, I absolutely hate the fact that we will be playing Nebraska in the championship game.

My thoughts are this: "THEY" IMO won't let us win it all or will make it as difficult as possible to do so.

If Neb and Wisky win out, Wisky wins the west. head to head.

My bad on earlier thoughts,.....Wiscy will be a tough out as well. Same prognostications apply.

Don't be surprised if they put Oklahoma ahead of PSU. I hope not but stranger things have happened.

It ultimately does not matter IMO as far as we are concerned. Our only path to top 4 is winning out w/ OSU beating Michigan and us beating Wisky in the Championship Game. If that is the case, the B1G would get 2 teams in. Lots of football to go though.

Yea, they even covered the spread!!

I care about this and I don't. Winning is what I want for this team and school. Not by all cost, but winning the right way, and beating the hell outta schools like OSU, Michigan and pitt like anytime we play them.
