suggest Officers have been ordered to "stand down". That is, certain high ranking officials don't want to see the "wrong" optics. That is, officers acting "too" aggressively.
Officers on one side of the street, in front of Police HQ, demonstrators on the other side of the street. Shots fired from behind the demonstrators.
One might suspect the same person that refused to call in the National Guard, while 30+ business burned a few months ago, is the same person instructing the Police to "stand down".
I suspect that would be the Missouri Governor.....yes, he's a Democrat.
