I optimistically believe we have a real shot at a decent season this year, but it's all on the O-line. Here is why I say this. With Moorheads offense, things are going to get better. But what people don't realize outside of PSU fans that really follow the program, is the addition of J. Johnson and I. Charles and how good they are supposed to be, plus Sanders at RB. Who is going to match up with four really good WR's? The only concern is the O-line, which I've heard everything under the sun about, as far as the younger prospects playing. Some say they will just provide depth while others say some will be starting. IMO the entire season depends on us being able to run the ball, with whatever O-line is on the field.

I believe we could still have at least a decent defense in 2016. We have three real good LB's in Bell (Who will be in the NFL) and Cabinda and Nyeem W-W, plus we have a good secondary overall. But once we lose these LB's we could be in trouble in the future. I think Manny Bowen can be really good but Cooper seems a little slow. If we don't recruit huge needs in 2017, what kind of defense will we have in the future? The 2016 season and 2017 recruiting class can be make it or break it for PSU.

Another problem that I'm sick of already is there are always good recruits that seem to come out of or near the Pittsburgh area. So you always have a handful of kids that want and try to convince other kids to go to Pitt. Do coaches show the history of what we have accomplished compared to Pitt?

Pitt does not even have there own stadium and its not even like going to college and experiencing a real college life. And comparing campuses, it's not even close. People talk about losing Ferns, saying no big deal we got David Adams coming. Even though we are the favorite there is no guarantee Adams is ours, even though it would be a perfect fit for him and he would get immediate playing time. There is legitimate reason to be concerned with our future. The offense will be good for a while to come. But if we don't get some real help defensively at DT and LB, after a couple years we could really be in trouble.
I never wanted to beat Pitt as bad as I do this year.

In 2012 people were saying have patience its not going to be until about 2015 we will be good. Now its have patience its not going to be until about 2019 or 2020 and we will be good. How about with all the weapons we have we make it 2016 or 2017 the year we do something.

This entire year depends on the O-line and us being able to run the ball.
