As predicted for a long time via real world evaluations of how the Earth works...
The trailing end of a natural Multi-year El Niño would document the transfer of years of stored solar heat in the ocean, as it was rising into the atmosphere.
So, we are seeing direct cause and effect being played out in both the bump in atmospheric temps from the transfer of stored solar warmth in the ocean and in the corresponding rapid fall of key ocean temperatures, as the solar warmth has been naturally moving from one Earth location to another.
