Entering into a long conference call, so you guys know how I keep myself amused....

1. Who will score the first rushing TD?

2. Who will catch the first passing TD?

3. Who gets first interception?

4. Who gets first sack of an opposing quarterback?

5. I think we can assume that Ohio State game will be the white out and have the largest crowd at the Beav. Which opponent brings the second largest crowd to the Beav?

6. McSorely, Johnson, Sanders and Thompkins are known exceptional/very solid players - but who is the unknown offensive player who will step forward and catch people's eyes?

7. Where will Tommy Stevens fit in the offense?

8. Farmer is the only defensive starter coming back (who played the whole season last year). Who will be the unknown defensive player who will step forward and catch people's eyes?

9. Final Regular Season Record?

10. Playoffs or not? If not, which bowl game does PSU project to?

If you would read several posts here, you would know the officiating will screw the Pennsylvania State University Nittany Lions whether they win or lose.
My goodness the bitching about officiating - NHL, NBA, CFB (really, we want to rehash the Iowa game?) - is getting nauseating.

2. Who will catch the first passing TD? Can't bet against JJ....

3. Who gets first interception? I'll go with Taylor (who could get beat out for the starting Safety job before the season begins), and if Taylor doesn't start I'll go with Oruwariye

6. McSorely, Johnson, Sanders and Thompkins are known exceptional/very solid players - but who is the unknown offensive player who will step forward and catch people's eyes? Hippenhopper.... I mean hammer.... He obviously had a few nice plays in the B/W game, and he looks like a player that can make the most of his opportunities this coming season.

7. Where will Tommy Stevens fit in the offense? Split back, slot, a somewhat expanded role from last season. But not crazy stuff....

8. Farmer is the only defensive starter coming back (who played the whole season last year). Who will be the unknown defensive player who will step forward and catch people's eyes? I count Miller as a returning starter as well. Hard to pick someone in the secondary, as there are few splash plays made in the secondary other than INT's. So I'll go with Brooks as winning the MLB job and doing a nice job at MLB. If Parsons ends up as a starter at OLB, he probably will have more splash plays, but a solid MLB is a key to fielding a consistent defense that doesn't get run over by oh-high-ya, Wisky, UM,......

9. Final Regular Season Record? I believe 10-2 will be a great record

10. Playoffs or not? If not, which bowl game does PSU project to? I don't see us getting in. Even with the best QB in the B10. We probably need a perfect record to get in, which is a tall task....

8. Farmer is the only defensive starter coming back (who played the whole season last year). Who will be the unknown defensive player who will step forward and catch people's eyes? Nick Scott will take over Marcus Allen's role as the enforcer in the secondary

10. Playoffs or not? If not, which bowl game does PSU project to? Yes, we finally crack the playoffs
