I think he is talking about selection of lots. Which ones will be the 1st choice for those with yellow passes. If they are “selling out” of general parking (aka yellow passes) in May, they are dumber than we all suspected and the backlash would be tremendous.

And to think:
There were actually some folks here who thought it was POSSIBLE that Sandy and her minions might NOT f^ck the whole thing up beyond repair.
I swear, I do remember some folks feeling that way.

I don't like all aspects of the new plan but I do actually like the fact that lot 12 will be presold so that not every person with the new equivalent of the yellow pass will not be trying to get into that lot.
I do understand the thought process in this new system and (who knows) it might actually help with the traffic after a few years when people finally figure it out. Don't over-estimate the average intelligence of tailgaters ... this is going to take awhile for everyone to figure out despite not being that complicated. My issue is we tailgate with two other groups ... one has had season tickets for years and around 350 NLC points, I've only got about 70 and the other just started and has like 30. I understand we could wait until the latest time of three, but 350 pointer doesn't want to end up in East BF like the other two.I've never come in via Atherton St. but have heard stories. Some of the problem likely was as you referenced with Lot 12 being full but people with yellow passes still going there then getting redirected. Maybe it's not fair to some but having assigned lots with a defined number of passes could help the overall situation. The lot selection process is the same as for seat selection. Maybe things will improve. Maybe they wont. People are going to complain either way. I can hear it now, "Geez, Lot 12 was sold out but there was still a lot of empty space. The university really screwed that up!!!" I'll reserve judgement until I see how it works out.
My selection is at 4:00 PM today. I'll try to come back and answer your question....unless somebody beats me to it. I assume there are several here with an earlier start time. Will the General parking selection portal list Lot #s & quantity of remaining spots?

Just selected my lot. All it shows is the available lots and you pick the lot you want and the number of parking spaces you want in that lot. Will the General parking selection portal list Lot #s & quantity of remaining spots?
Hope it was simple and intuitive to pick and confirm? I go at 12:30 and really want a particular (small) lot..Just selected my lot. All it shows is the available lots and you pick the lot you want and the number of parking spaces you want in that lot.
It doesn't show the number of available spaces. When I did it appeared that all Yellow lots were still available as none were blocked out
Yes it was. 2 or 3 clicks and you are doneHope it was simple and intuitive to pick and confirm? I go at 12:30 and really want a particular (small) lot..
Success! 2 minutes just confirming I pick correct lot number.Yes it was. 2 or 3 clicks and you are done
You probably wanted the same lot that I am looking for.Success! 2 minutes just confirming I pick correct lot number.
Just heard from friend it’s sold out☹️Yep. Probably no hope at 4:00 PM
Crap. Thanks for the heads up. I was planning around it anyway.Just heard from friend it’s sold out☹️
I wouldn't have paid that much either. I liked to park in 46 as you mention. 47 was my consolation. 46 is paved, which I assume is the reason for the change to preferred. $2500 is crazy money for that spot.I fear that they grossly underestimated the volume they could put in 47, per the map/picture. If they only sold for that area it’s ridiculous, considering it’s been used all these years by so many cars. There’s a large grass lot that it looks like they have shutdown.
Also, anyone who parked in 46, which is now reserved for $2500 would also be looking at 47 if they want to stay in the area.
I was called yesterday about 46, but not interested in paying $2500. Guess that means there are still reserved spots available there.
Go to any game not Ohio State or Michigan and a large portion of those premium spots are empty as the parking setup existed in recent years. Before long, any parking space within any reasonable distance of the Stadium will be “premium”....... and cost way more than it used to.
This is not the latest map. I will try to post the most current oneThe poor bastards in the "Eastern Zone" (which is where the bulk of the "non-preferred" folks will be placed).
They are gonna' feel like the unlucky Berliners who got stuck on the wrong side of the wall.
For anyone who might be curious, but doesn;t have the info to follow along on the conversations:
It doesn't take a rocket surgeon to see where things are going to get the most FUBAR.
They should have a South Eastern zone and let lots 33 and 34 (maybe even 31 and 32) enter off Orchard via Puddintown. The poor bastards in the "Eastern Zone" (which is where the bulk of the "non-preferred" folks will be placed).

I say we sell our spots in Lot 47, and commence with the garage TG! Screw ICA! They have destroyed what our decades of dedication have built in nanoseconds!I fear that they grossly underestimated the volume they could put in 47, per the map/picture. Well we typically park there and go in that same way to the "new" lot 34. Bet yer ass we will be in line before the traffic patterns start before a game!!They should have a South Eastern zone and let lots 33 and 34 (maybe even 31 and 32) enter off Orchard via Puddintown.
So is this done through your account manager on Gopsusports.com?Well we typically park there and go in that same way to the "new" lot 34. Bet yer ass we will be in line before the traffic patterns start before a game!!
Yes, but its easier if you just go through email you received. So is this done through your account manager on Gopsusports.com?
We never got our email. I had to call Penn State today to get our time to pick our lot.Yes, but its easier if you just go through email you received.
Funny how everyone who was crying for due process a few years ago are ready to condemn the new parking plan before it goes into effect. Did you ever consider it might improve the traffic problems? Or did you just conclude that a lesbian is incapable of implementing a complex task of getting 110,000 in and out of the stadium safely?
