FB Recruiting 2025 DE Jayden Woods has flipped to Florida

Mo money…. Gonna be hard to keep top 15 recruiting classes. The SEC, Oregon, OSU and Michigan will out spend PSU every year

We are falling behind and running neck and neck with….. Wiscy in this recruiting class.

Hate to lose this kid. He had the size to contribute early.

Didn't realize we held off OSU in retaining Coleman (he canceled the OV he scheduled).

Assuming this is NIL related.

On the surface, not knowing the transaction amount, seems like a really poor decision by the kid and his family. We’re about to put our 5th DE in 4 years into the first round of the draft. And while FL is showing signs of life, they have the toughest schedule in the country again next season. Napier doesn’t make the playoffs in year four and he gone. My money is on this kid portaling to KState this time next year.

Maybe he's been listening to our fans claim that the refs are out to get us and he thinks he'll be held on every play and left
If he portals to a school like K-State then I'm glad he's leaving now

the top 100 recruits are going to look for the highest paycheck. This thing is spiraling out of control now that wealthy donors have started buying teams. There is no fair market value for players, it’s whatever someone will pay. Rosters could get into the 30 mil range by next year for a Yankees type team. There is no competing in this market as it has no limit.

That is so f’n pathetic. Putting Paterno above the University is not something he ever wanted.
Regardless of whether you agree or not, it seems very likely that the failure to properly celebrate Paterno impacts donations to the school and related activities. And it could be remedied with very little effort.

Not supporting NIL for this program the way that It Is run by the athletic department and the coaching staff is in fact a DISHONOR OF JOE PATERNO. Joe would be very happy the way Franklin runs this program. Corporations and high rolling alumni need to get over it. Invest in players or lose them.

Money seems to be flying into Florida right now ie NIL..
And given that he was from an unnatural recruiting area he was always at risk anyway.

The combo of 💰 and playing time appears to be outweighing "relationships" with coaches.

Geography is still our friend from NC to Massachusetts and parts of the Midwest. Otherwise the kids are mercenaries- which I have no issue with.

FWIW the Van Buren kid from Baltimore who I believe spurned us for Ducks is having a strong first half for Mississippi State vs Ole Miss. Oregon loved him til they got Dillon Gabriel and off to Starkville he goes- a school which was likely nowhere on his radar coming out of St. Francis.

The WR from Charm City D. Thornton went to Eugene too and is having a good year for the UT Vols.

Musical Chairs under the guise of "education"....so be it
