I haven't cared much about the NFL for over 20 years. It is going to be interesting to see if I can watch a game start to finish.

I think the pro game is going to change or die in the next decade. The head injury stuff is not going away.

There are not many 80 yard runs in the NFL any more. The set up which results in an 80 yard TD run in college results in stepping OOB after 12 yards, and a play action pass off the same look 10 plays later in the pros.

SB seems like a great guy, with a storybook career so far. Given all that has happened to us, there are few guys who have been more important to the PSU story. Good luck and good health to him for a long career in NY!

It’s going to be interesting to see if I can ever give a darn about NFL entertainment. Crystal Ball says UNLIKELY. But I wish SB the best and I’ll pay attention to his career, watch his highlights, etc. without the rest of the production and related pageantry. I hope it’s a great career.

An hour with DVR a few times a season has been my ceiling since the advent of TiVo. More likely a quick and semi-regular peruse on ESPN.com, even to watch one of my all-time favorite Nits.
