Has anyone tried Dogfishead’s new joint venture brew for with Woolrich “Pennsylvania Tuxcedo”? It’s an American IPA flavored with spruce tips. 8.5%abv.

Like everything Sam does it’s uber hoppy.

As the owner of a couple real Pennsylvania tuxcedos I was intrigued.

Yes. I had some about two weeks ago at the Keystone Pub in Whitehall. Very good. I gave it a high rating on Untappd.

Yes - had it when it came out last year. Tastes as described, prob wouldn't drink more than a couple though due to the flavor killing anything else I'd try to drink.

It was the first time I saw it at my local beer store.

It’s pretty good for a beer you can buy at the grocery store. It was pretty scarce for the first few years, so I’m not surprised you never ran across it.
