Can anyone provide information regarding the construction on 322 near Seven Mountains? I am going to the Pitt game, leaving from the York Area. Any suggestions on length of delays because of traffic, when the traffic starts to build, detours, etc? Thanks in advance.

The construction is really not a big deal because it's only a mile or two sooner than the road drops from 4 lanes to 2 anyhow. Always better to hit that area earlier rather than later. On Saturday, we hit the construction around 8:00 (4 hours before kickoff) and had about a 15 or 20 minute wait. So for this week, I would think anything before 11:30 and you'll be ok, although there will likely be more people on Saturday than there were last week.

If you have some extra time, get off 322 at the 655 Belleville/Reedsville exit and go over the mountain at McElvy's Fort. A very pretty drive, especially in the fall. Will likely add at least a half hour to your drive but you're not sitting in traffic. Enjoy!

Thank You!

McAlevy's Fort is the best way with traffic, but it is easy to miss the road to go up the mountain even with GPS. Madsol is correct about the beauty of the drive. Greenwood Furnace state park is on that drive which is very nice. Be careful of your speed on some of the turns though.

Was wondering when it would back up.. we were through the construction around 730-740 with a very minimal slow down at the merge to one lane point. Should be more spread out Saturday but I want to get up there before it backs up Saturday if possible.
