As I read this I think chicken feed. My company has better benies such as 26 vacations days and 19.5 paid sick days per year. Unused sick days credited to your pension annuity. Paid healthcare premiums in retirement. Paid life insurance premiums. A pension subject to annual cost of living increase based on the inflation rate. Because I can live off the pension my 401k becomes 'fun' money. And the beat goes on. Makes me glad I did not strike out on my own, flipping houses and hanging dry wall, like Fish. I'd still be working if I did.
