Question, were back points referred to as a "predicament" in the early 70's or is this announcer giving us his version of "going for the gusto"?

I believe it was a predicament then near fall. I remember the predicament (possibly while on my back) .

I'm really old school. When I started, a predicament was 1 point. It became 2 points while I was in JH or SH. A predicament was awarded based upon the angle of the back to the mat. It was strictly a referee's interpretation. Passed a certain angle (45o maybe?) it could be called a near fall. Can't remember when they started counting for back points, but it was after the 60s.
