Buccos have won 24 of their last 36...

but the Cardinals have won 28 of 43.

Since May 1, Pirates are 6-7 in one run games.
Since May 1, Cardinals are 13-7 in one run games

Ridiculous.

Cardinals are 7-3 over their last ten games.......even though the MOST runs they have scored in any of those games is FOUR.

Ugh!

If it weren't that they are so consistent in doing the little things right....playing the game the way it is supposed to be played....they would be a very easy club to hate!

I'm not worried. They will come back to the pack. They have to be just as frustrated. They are playing great baseball and yet every time they look in their rear view mirror, they see those damn Pirates on their tail.

Items in rear view mirror may appear larger than they actually are !

it is almost like they have an unfair advantage or know what the other team is going to do next

They just did one of the little things wrong, however.

Not that it matters, they are on a 110 win pace with essentially their B team, every day. Incredible.

There's another way of looking at it. Pittsburgh is playing its best ball of the season and they still can't gain any ground.

Holliday out. Waino out. Adams out and you guys still are eating our dust.

Long season, all the way around.

The other day while in the car I had the game on and they said that for the past 19 games (might be 21 now) that the Cardinals matched the Pirates outcome for that day's game every time. If we won, they won. If we lost, they lost.

For now. No question the Cardinals deserve credit for continuing to lead the Division with their injuries, but the Pirates are not going away. Should make for a fun season.

You Pittsburgh Peckerwoods should be more concerned about the Cubs than the Cardinals. Chicago could keep you out of the post-season.

You Cardinal Connivers should be more worried about a good lawyer that could possibly keep some of your front office big wigs out of jail. Disgraceful.

If the Buccos didn't have what is becoming their typical late season start (um, the season starts in April boys), they'd be neck-n-neck with the Cards now. Still both teams are going to slump again at some point...probably multiple times...so along with the Cubs, it looks like the NLC will have the best divisional race in baseball again this year.

Why is it necessary to hurl an insult while voicing your opinion? It makes it difficult to take seriously anything after the insult. Perhaps that was the point.
