Hey all, I was thinking of some things to discuss with you all about the Penn State program and the future of recruting.

1) I have come to the conclusion that I believe that the biggest need for PSU right now is not a big man, it is getting an elite wing. In this day and age you can get away with two Big men on your roster. The game is going small with space out and shooters! I think it is imperative that PSU gets a top 150 wing to go along with the class or next. Of course if the right big came aling, take him. But to me, a wing is as important or more important.

2) With this current 2016 class, I believe we will ultimately see two solid starters out of this class, Carr and Stevens. I believe Hampton will be a spot starter eventually. However, I can see him making a big impact off the bench to provide a nice changeup!

3) I believe that the next 'hot recruit " that Chambers and staff will chase will be indeed David Beatty. There is mutual interest on both ends and it is a possibility for PSU. I am not saying he will ultimately commit, but Chambers has out himself in a good spot. St.Joes is going to be tough here and so will GTown, they are both very interested. I am going to guess Temple will eventually be high on his list as well. For all who want to watch him, David attends St.Benedicts in New Jersey. I believe that move will boost his recruting interest. Good to see Chambers expand his recruting areas.

4) Sean Good interest in PSU has risen. I expect PSU to heavily monitor him in the coming year. Bigs don't grow on trees.

5) I would still watch Erik Ayala recruitment very closely. He could be a interesting one to follow.

6) Penn State is in a good spot right now in 2016 and future recruting. It is important for Chambers and staff to follow up the 2016 class with another solid 2017 class, lots of prospects out there. They have a chance of landing a good 2017 class. Give Dwayne Anderson a lot of credit, very good addition to the staff.
