1) That was a very interesting ge against GW the other night, though it resulted in a loss there was some fight from PSU. GW is a quality team. I like the small little imorovment they are making.
2) Defensivley PSU needs to improve, specifically Shep Garner. Shep didn't have one of his best days defensivley last game. He lost his man several times. That's a lack of focus that can hurt the team down the line. Good teams are in tune with one another defensivley. He needs to be able to set the tone, pressure the ball, and cause havoic. Seen him do it before.
3) As the big ten play rolls around it is going to get tougher. The quality shots that we got against GW was few. That's the result of not having a true PG, which gets resolved in the coming years. It seems like they settled for the first available shot, but not the best shot.
4) Still a young team, but a more watchable team then I thought. Give them credit, they don't lay down, they fight.
Recruting tidbits:
1) Chambers is very interested in Noah Locke 2018 guard out of Baltimore. He is a shooter with a developing drible game and body. I like his upside. That would be a nice shooter to pair with the others on the wing. Expect that recruitment to up in the spring/summer.
2) was told that within the next two weeks someone from the PSU staff, maybe Chambers, will be in attendance for a Lonnie Walker game, not sure which one. If I get more info I will share that with you all.
