1) So far in the young high school basketball season, the best player so far in the PCL has been..... Lamar Stevens. Yup, Lamar Stevens has taken Roman from very good team to a great team! He has been playing at an extreme high level. First team all Chick Flia tourny team and so far is tearing it up down in Delaware this week, dunking everything. It was suggested to me that he is a much better four man than three, plays inside, rebounds, and can start the break by himself. Also, the best defender on Roman.
2) Time to move on from David Beatty, he is not coming. We still might get a visit, but I am about 95% sure he is not coming. His recruitment has skyrocketed since the summer, playing very well! Ohio State seems to be the leader right now.
3) Tonny Carr has gotten off to a slow start thus far. Not scoring a ton, which is fine, he is a true PG, which is what I expect from him at the next level. Looks like he is still in the recoverey process from his foot over the summer! His team is loaded.
4) New name to look our for: Nick Alikios from Episcabol Academy, where Chambers was an assistiant coach for years. He has been the leading scorer in the Philly area thus far, few 30 point games. To me, he still looks patriot level, but I can see PSU giving him a look and the ties Chambers has to the school! He has a funny game, he plays inside, but I think his college position is outside, more like a small forward.
