Some information that I have received and formulated over the last week and a half and I wanted to share some of it with you all!
1) Lamar Stevens, Tony Carr, and Naz Bostick will be playing in the Donfrio tournament starting in mid-April. This is a tournament where top players for Jersey, Delaware, and NJ play in. Tons of NBA players have played in this tourny. If any are in the area, you should come out to support. Lamar won this tournament two years ago and Carr won it last year. I will be following those three and other prospects throughout the month. I hope to have some updates for you all!
2) I believe Robby Carmody will receive a PSU offer by the beginning of the summer, if not sooner. He was recently offered by Louisville. Robby has top 50-75 player written all over him.
3) The Nike EYBL (AAU) begins April 15-17 in Brooklyn, NY. This is the kickoff to the recruting season. I believe Chambers and staff will make their first stop here. This is where and when you will hear many names surface and pick up steam. He will evaluate over 100 prospects.
4) One name to keep track off is Najja Hunter. Hunter is a six foot five prospect who is from New York, but plays for Westtown, with Mo Bamba and Brandon Randolph. Hunter had a very good season last year and this year and has received some offers of note, Minnesota and Providence. He also has a PSU offer. Chambers will watch him very early this AAU season. He is on the PSA Cardinals team with Randolph (Top 75) Quade Green (Top 50) and Mo Bamba (Top 5). In short, PSA is loaded. He will be taking some visits this week.
5) Maxwell Lorca Lloyd a 2019 big man to put in your back pocket. PSU is showing sole interest and will follow him for the time being! When you evaluate bigs this early it is always tough to tell how they will develop. I expect this to be a fluid situation and will evaluate for the coming months/years. But there is interest.
