A fighter pilot shares his ten principles to live by.

Funny that you admire the pilot’s principles. SMH
10. Create a team you trust
9. Learn to be comfortable in the uncomfortable
8. Everyday is another day to become a more badass version of yourself
7. Don't be afraid to surround yourself with people more talented than you.
6. Stay healthy, stay fit
5. Have a damn good time
4. Be creative, rebellious, and come up with cool shit
3. Go on an adventure
2. Be someone's hero
1. Just try to be a good dude.

So tell me which one's you don't agree with. My guess is 8, 6, 5, .... shyt all of them.

#2 seems a bit selfish to me.

Why does someone need to become someone else's "hero"? Can't someone just do a great deed and then walk away without fanfare or accolades?

I, too, have a list of 10 things to live by.

This guys 10 is better than yours. Just saying.

Michael Felli's 10 Commandments.....

  1. One human can never own another human
  2. People of today have a responsibility to future generations
  3. Do not abuse children, the elderly or people with disabilities: organic and/or psychological
  4. Be honest
  5. All humans are equal
  6. All humans deserve adequate food, shelter and healthcare
  7. Education must never be denied to any human
  8. Any human can do whatever he or she pleases as long as they do not harm others or the environment
  9. All humans have not only the right to live but, also, the right to die
  10. All humans have the right to "due process"

I've never seen evidence that #1 applies to you in any way.

You should make that an ad.

just don't mess with my 10% discount at

I respect and value the efforts of the vast majority of our service men. Just tired of the vainglory of some, the lapel pin patriotism, the wasteful flyovers, the Shock and Awe warmongering, the many scumbags who are now “contractors” and operate wholly outside the rules of war, etc. Eisenhower warned us all.

Lol. An ad for what?

I believe the original link was an ad for men's products. Here at work I can't reopen to verify the product. Now, McD might not want to do men's products, or maybe not even women's products. I could see him doing something like this.

Oliver Stone, too, warned us. :)

I don't disagree but I think most of that is from the John Wayne types- people who never spent a day in the service.

You people seriously make me shake my head sometimes. Are you really that contrarian that you HAVE to post to a forum that you disagree with? You can't just move on to the next forum and forget about it? Get over yourselves...
