He was hobbled a bit by a groin strain, but still had 2 sacks, including the game clinching sack and forced fumble.

He beat slow twitch ex-Wisconsin OL Havenstein badly on the 2nd one - amazing how that happens when there’s competent (non Big 10) refs who don’t allow an OLine to hold all game.

Hate the Cowboys, but love seeing ex lions dominating

I watch some NFL games just to watch Nittany Lions dominate. I do not remember ever having this level of elite PSU talent in the NFL.

Penn State has always been in the top 5 or so at having players in the league but you'd have to go all the way back to Franco & the Hammer to a time where they had two players like Parsons & Barkley. For a season or two they had Wake, Poz, Lee & Bowman playing at all-pro levels but not quite the same from a marquee standpoint and way less peripheral players than now.
Aside from Bama & OSU you could make a real argument that PSU is doing the most producing of NFL players. The next 3-4 schools after the former are all pretty equal but without stars the like of Micah and Saquon. Guys like Dan Chisena, Chris Hogan and Nick Scott are terrific stories too.

You left out Lydell Mitchell and Mike Reid from that era. Plus several others in the supporting cast.

And if it weren’t for a rash of injuries there would be many more. Kurt Warner, Kajana Carter, Bruce Clark,

Actually Parson was being held on the strip sack that ended the game.

I believe Parsons is just a step (a small step) behind Aaron Donald as "the best defensive player in the NFL"

AD isn't having his best season so far but its early. JJ being hurt also takes him out. We'll see if 11 can play with that groin. (he's got a groin) Lets hope a week will heal it. he's got a little extra time as they play the birds Sunday night.

A healthy 11 may lead to less yds for Sanders in that game.
