A.J. Nevills' big win plus other Former PSU Wrestlers

Weekend Update on former PSU wrestlers:

A.J Nevills defeats Dustin Dennison of Utah Valley U. 7-3. Why is that a big win? Dennison was higher ranked in the coaches poll and A.J.'s victory most likely gives him the NUMBER 2 ranking in the Big 12. When is the last time two brothers made the NCAA's at heavyweight in the same year?? Fingers crossed

Cody Law had an 11-1 major and a fall ( 3:50 ) in UPJ's two wins this weekend. He remains undefeated in Div. II and is ranked #2 in Div. II.

Gary Dinmore won both his matches for Rider this weekend....5-4 ( Cleveland St. ) and 10-2 ( Edinboro )

Garrett Hammond won 11-2 against Army but dropped an 11-8 match to #13 ranked Markus Scheidal of Columbia

Overall....former PSU wrestlers are doing quite well

I am just glad that Garrett is healthy again. Man....I hope that didn't hurt his knee. Mine hurts just looking at the photo. Nice pic though. Is it easier with the digitals? I used an old Minolta XG-7 for years and years.

Garrett has a bad knee. I believe the Drexel coach should have either held Garrett out of this match for fear he might reinjure his knee, or at the very least thrown in a towel as soon as this move was initiated.

The Drexel coaches did yell enough to get a potentially dangerous call out of this.
