I get why so many of these people are pissed off. They’ve been fleeced out of mid six figures for degrees which are completely irrelevant to the modern world.

Henderson has an Energy Resources Engineering degree from Stanford University, a Master’s degree in Sustainability in the Urban Environment, and years of experience working in sustainable agriculture.”

And now he’s struggling to plant tomatoes at an anarchist colony......err, “block party”. And he’s likely in massive debt. Driven there by a liberal educational industrial complex who blames the rich for the failures of their graduates.

It’s actually a case study in marketing. How to make your customers emotionally connected to a product which has no real value to the current economic landscape, but overpay for it anyway. Then complain to someone else when they can’t find return on their investment. Universities are better than Disney in selling $hit to people.
