A new fan/wrestler?

Well, another one is on the way. God blessed Mrs. SWPA and I as she is with child again. We recently found out that it's a boy. He should compliment my two little girls nicely. All is well with both the Mrs. and the little guy so far. He will be arriving this fall just in time for my favorite seasons to begin. My wife is a little worried about his weight though because he is three ounces over (average). I'm not worried as we haven't settled on a weight class yet. As most of us on here would love to see our little guys wrestle, if you chooses not to then I will support his decision. He will however be forced to watch it with me until he moves out. Now I have another reason to look forward to the beginning of the college wrestling season. We haven't settled on a name yet but she has hinted that a recent PSU favorite's name might be an option. ;):)

congratulations to Mrs. SWPA and to you.

start planning a lot of trips to PSU football games, PSU wrestling matches, etc. It's never too early to start building the links. :)

Congrats! We also had two girls before the first boy. Hard to believe that it was fifteen years ago when he turned five that I put him in wrestling to toughen him for football. Within a few years I realized that PSU had another sport I could become obsessed with. If not for him loving wrestling I wouldn't of ever realized the greatness of wrestling and the lessons to be learned from it. Good luck with family and try planning an early year birthday for the next. It's a bonus in youth wrestling.

Praise the Lord! The little guy finally arrived. Happy and healthy. Mrs. SWPA is doing great also. He looks like a middle weight right now but things can change in 18 years (I've been told). I guess i could go by the old look at his parents motto but i'm not a fan of mirrors. He already has a great wrestling partner in DT's kid. David just doesn't know it yet so if someone could inform him i would appreciate it. It's been a great week. God bless you all and let's get this season started.

Lol. No, I'll probably refer to him as little SWPA for now. The Mrs. is pretty reserved when it comes to publicly announcing family information. We did not give him a PSU wrestling name though. We decided to go in another direction. Nicknames however are still up for grabs. ;)

Funny, I thought of this thread yesterday while giving my daddy speech at our daughter's Wedding Reception. Spending way too much time on this forum :):).

Seriously SWPA, the years with my kids, especially when really young, were fabulous. But they did go by quickly.
