a nice start, fair, but you must have been in a rush to get to court, as you did leave out several ladies deserving of a greeting. Once again, I'm left to fill in for you. ;)

Our first greetings go out to a lady that was a star on the big screen and on the stage. She retired from films for the stage at a rather young age, but that didn't stop Mr. Gambit from noticing her. He first appreciated her in Only Yesterday. He went on to enjoy her performances in "Little Man, What Now?," So Red the Rose, Three Comrades, The Shining Hour, The Shop Around the Corner, The Mortal Storm, Appointment for Love, and her final appearance in No Sad Songs for Me. She was born Margaret Brooke Sullavan, called Brookie by Mr. Gambit, and known to her fans as Margaret Sullavan.

Our next greetings go out to lady that was the leading sex symbol and top box-office draw of French film in her era. She had that title until Brigitte Bardot came along. Mr. Gambit enjoyed her in films such as Beware of Blondes, Beauties of the Night, Lucrece Borgia, Madame du Barry, Lola Montes, The Stowaway, Ten Seconds to Hell, Vanina Vanini, and Operation Gold Ingot. She died at the young age of 46 while shooting Hell is Empty. She was boon as Marie-Louis Jeanne Nicolle Mourer, but was know to fair and her fans as Martine Carol.

Our next greetings go out to a multi-talented lady the Mr. Gambit enjoyed on the ballet stage, on the big screen, and on TV. On the big screen, Mr. Gambit most enjoyed her performances in Gidget, High Time, It Happened at the World's Fair, Kissin' Cousins, One Spy Too Many, and In Like Flint. She was most famous for her role as Batgirl on the TV series Batman, and she appeared in many of the most popular TV series during the 60s and 70s. The lovely Yvonne Craig.

Our next greetings to out to a lady that Mr. Gambit never tires of looking at. She's a model and an actress. Mr. Gambit first noticed her in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Her breakout role was in Transformers. Mr. Gambit also enjoyed her in Jennifer's Body, Passion Play, Friends with Kids, and This Is 40. On TV, Mr. Gambit enjoyed her in Hope & Faith, and New Girl. The lovely Megan Fox.

Our final greetings go out to a singer that Mr. Gambit has always enjoyed listening to and looking at. She's the youngest child of a famous music family. Some of her top hits include "Nasty," "Rhythm Nation," "That's the Way Love Goes," "Together Again, and "All for You." The lovely Janet Jackson.

You do good work Tom, and I appreciate it. The worst part about taking a trip is catching up when you return. Alas, I not only have not only that , but my ever increasing bucket list. My birthday contributions will be hit and miss going forward, but I will do what I can. I would hope another of our illustrious board members can also step up and post greetings from time to time. Now, I am off to the polls. I promised to help a friend out today who is running for Judge.

btw, fair, it's also the birthday of Barbara Lee. She was an original member of the Chiffons. I have no doubt that the future Mrs. Gambit was singing the lyrics to their first hit, "He's So Fine," after she first spied you. Something about your appearance made her think of "Doo-lang doo-lang doo-lang." ;)

Barbara died one day before her 45th birthday. She's one of the below ladies -- I'm not sure which one.

I believe Barbara is on the bottom left.
A trivia note. A Chiffons song was playing on KLF radio in Dallas when they interrupted programing to bring the 1st news of the JFK assassination. Finally, after a delay... off to the polls to help a friend.

Yes, very fine. That's a damn good film. With Nick Nolte.

Actually, as I recall, that movie was based on both Cannery Row and Sweet Thursday, two novels by Steinbeck of course. I love those two novels and their eccentric characters. Mack and the boys are hilarious. John Huston's narration of the movie fits perfectly.

Fonzie just got a whiff of Megan Fox's pic and headed out the door to track her down.

TRUE STORY:

Debra Winger's latest movie (The Lovers) is coming to The Catlow, my local (Barrington, IL) old time movie theater this coming Friday.

Didn't know until this thread that fair APPARENTLY plays one of her two opposite roles, not as her husband but of her boyfriend!

Will post a review as was already planning to see it sometime in the next week, now it's on my bucket list.
