Lamar Stevens and Tony Carr both advanced in the Donofrio classic this weak, which sets up an interesting matchup potentially on next Tuesday between Lamar Stevens and Tone Carr. Stevens played well this week tallying 20+ points in both games on a vary of dunks, inside moves, and yes some mid-range shots. I have noticed of the last couple of times I have watched Lamar is that he is.making the effort and has improved his left/right two dribble pull up. It is actually becoming something Lamar is looking to do more, very huge development.
It is scary to say, but Lamar has actually out on some more muscle over the past year, up to around 230lbs. He is huge. His body reminds me of Gerald Henderson of years to go. Still has a ways to develop, but he is getting better each time.
Tone Carr is just solid and I think we can expect that for four years. I have gotten to the point of watching Carr where I have full confidence that he is going to make the right basketball play each time. Just consistent. Had a double double this week and had 18points on Wednesday. It will be great to get them on campus and start working.
