@Tim Owen/BWI staff
Tim, we missed your posts from press row during this year's Nationals.
During the finals, I did think of Tim, after Cassar's decisive victory over White. As best as I can recall, Tim was the first person on the PSU wrestling beat that was talking up Anthony Cassar, and how the PSU coaches thought they had a real gem with Cassar. Anthony's injuries somewhat derailed his PSU wrestling career, and despite his thrilling defeat of Kollin Moore at last season's tOSU dual, he didn't get the nod for the 197 lb slot at B1Gs.
As we saw this past season, and especially at B1Gs and NCAAs, Cassar had the talent and the discipline to make the most of the situation when he was healthy.
Now if we could just get Tim to put down the farm tools, and go interview the PSU wrestling coaches, perhaps we could get some good insight on Teske, Joe Lee, Starocci, Brooks, Beard, Seth Nevills, etc. We certainly could use something like that to help pass the time until next November.
