So, during the first round, the question was (I paraphrase!), "What is the sacrament that allows Catholics to receive Communion at age sever?" The guy answers "Confirmation" and Alex says correct. Now my wife and I are like what?! Now I've seen them make corrections after the first commercial but it didn't happen then and I'm like, "I can't believe Catholic staff members, from support and maintenance to all the technicians working there are like "Hey team, that's a big f*%/#kup!" My wife said at the end of the show they did say the answer was incorrect.

Re: Don't leave us non-Catholics in the dark

First Communion or Eucharist, however, my wife did make a good point in that Penance could/would have worked also, as they occur at the same time.

Re: Don't leave us non-Catholics in the dark

Eucharist would not be correct as that is the sacrament they are allowed to receive. Your wife is correct in that the answer, as the question is worded, would be Penance, Reconciliation, or Confession.

Re: Don't leave us non-Catholics in the dark

Again, I paraphrased the question! Having said that, when you search the Seven Sacraments, several have the caveat "Also called." The major point of my post though, is the fact that Jeopardy was sooooo far off that someone had to be majorly asleep at the wheel. I'm not insinuating that someone that isn't Catholic should have known the answer but that Jeopardy should had the correct answer for all of their questions!
Gobblers been gobbling pretty good. Will try some video (don't shootem anymore!) tomorrow, so goodnight!
